Point

I took a knitting class at the Point several months ago. The store itself is very small, yet charming. The employees were friendly and helpful. The class I was in was small and gave plenty of oppurtunity for personal attention. The teacher was patient with everyone. The store has a great selection of yarn (expensive yarn!). The employees are more then happy to help you buy everything you need for a project. You can then sit down, begin the project and enjoy a cup of coffee. There were a ton of people knitting and drinking coffee. This was a ton of fun.

This, new to the creative west village area, is POINT a lovely cafe and knitting yarn store where customers can select from a variety of yarns at a comfortable price range. They also have classes for those who have yet to pick up the trend as well as classes for kids and moms. Come by and have a coffee and a muffin and knit away the afternoon!
