.

Now is the time to start shouting about, "Show Camp". This is the greatest Arts program for children around. The owners/directors are past employees of Andew Lloyd Weber, being fully responsible for the US production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. From there they developed Show Camp, held 3 times a year; Fall, Spring, & Summer. At the end of each session is a fullblown Broadway like show that makes you feel like you are right on Broadway in New York City. The program is opened to children 5-18 and if you are an adult who can entertain, you are welcome to join your child. Kids learn teamwork, music theory, voice training, acting, make-up, stagework, lighting, etc....in the summer the programs are more extensive and run all day rather than on the weekends during the normal school year. The directors are terrific, a real family atmosphere, volunteering is welcome. And if that wasnt enough, the shows are fanstastic, open to public, DVD's also available.
We are so grateful to have Show Camp in our neighborhood. If you dont have kids, then do yourself a favor and see one of their shows!

PROS: Professional, good jumpboard into the enterntainment industry, family orien
CONS: Somewhat pricey for costumes, scholarships available
