After reading an article that said one could save money by having appliances such as sewing machines and vacuum cleaners repaired rather than replacing them when they weren't performing as good as new, I decided to take my 30-year-old sewing maching to Harvey's Sew & Vac Shop. I thought it would need to be repaired but was happy to find out it simply needed to be cleaned, oiled and have some settings adjusted. I definitely saved money in this case!
