Due to renovations, the Georgetown Flea Market is now in Court House. I think there are rumors about it staying permanently, which i would love. This is a great market set up across from the Courts in the movie theater parking lots. Lots of great finds and worth the trip to Virginia!

I go to this flea market often because people always speak so highly of it and seem to find some unique items, but I have never had any sort of luck there. I just seem to find people selling what seems to be their junk from their attic. Its a fun place to go on a sunny weekend, but I have not had any luck.

Every weekend, the school parking lot on the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue fills up with flea market vendors. Their wares range from the cheap (used books, postcards) to the expensive (pottery, antiques, paintings). They get a local crowd that can afford the nicer stuff. It's a lot of fun to walk around and see what the vendors have. Get there early for the best selection!
