This store is as unique as they come. This is a vintage boutique that carries clothing items from the early 1900s to as late as the 1980s. The store is organized by type of item and gender. I was very surprised to discover they have items for both males and females. I picked up a great old outfit from the 1950s for a costume party. The outfit was a hit.

This two-level vintage boutique in Old Town has a good selection of clothes, particularly dresses, from most decades beginning in the 30s right on up to as recently as the 80s. The quality of the merchandise is good, pieces that have certainly withstood the changing times in terms of wear, and color, and the items are priced accordingly. Also, items are logically organized according to style (i.e. all the dresses in one area, the mens shirts in another and so on). Most of the people who work there are very friendly and eager to help out, although once when I came the only person working was a young teenager (maybe even younger) who did not look too enthusiastic to be sitting in a vintage shop.

Finally, a big, roomy vintage store! Polly Sue's has lots of room to move around and browse the dresses. The store seems to specialize in dresses, and has them from the 40s to the 90s. They even have some wedding dresses available. They also offer shirts, shoes, sweaters, and even have a men's section with shirts, jackets, and blazers. This is one of the best vintage stores in the DC area. Prices are moderate--not salvation army cheap, but not as much as some boutique-type vintage shops.
