I chose this hotel primarily because it was on my way from Chattanooga to Austin (northern route). I was looking for a hotel that was right off the interstate, had a familiar name, free breakfast, etc. So if I stop my review right now based on those 3 criteria I would have to say I found what I was looking for. \r\n\r\nAnd in all fairness, they DID tell me on the internet that they only had one working elevator!\r\n\r\nAfter I had checked in and parked in the basement (I was assured there was a security guard who patrolled this dark, secluded, and sketchy parking lot), I waited the mandatory 5 minutes for the one wobbly, rickety elevator that was working to take me to my 6th floor room. After I got to my room I had to go back out and get food (pizza hut--they don't deliver the 1/4 mile distance to the hotel). So back to the basement parking and this time a 10 minute wait for the one elevator that turned out to be broken. I only found this out after calling the lobby by cell. The pizza was OK after the 6 flooor walk up, but a little cold.\r\n\r\nDon't stay here if you are on a time schedule or if you are a single travelling woman (which I am not). Other detractors: old rooms, no restaurants besides pizza hut and a chinese take-out at the exit, and a total carb-based breakfast. Really.\r\n\r\nThey do have a free shuttle that can take you to the Clinton Library if you want to go there for any reason.

Pros: right off the Interstate

Cons: one (possibly) working elevator, poor parking

I took a group of high school students to Little Rock in April and we stayed here. It is a fabulous hotel. We had suites with a small fridge and microwave, two beds, two tv's, and a couch that made into a third bed. There is a continental breakfast, exercise room, and computer room. All of the furnishings were very nice. I was more than pleased with them.

Our room was very nice with two queen-sized beds, two chairs for sitting in with a floor lamp by one of them. The television was across from the beds in a credenza with two drawers beneath it. There selection of channels was quite slim, with only the Cartoon Channel being available for kids.

Next to the television was a desk with an office chair. Free high-speed Internet, either wireless or through a network connection is offered. There was also a telephone on the desk with a data port. A second telephone was on the night-table between the beds, along with the alarm clock.

The bathroom was roomy as well. The sink was inside the room with the toilet and shower. A small hairdryer hung on one wall. There was soap, shampoo and lotion available. Also on the sink was a once-cup-at-a-time coffee-maker. This was new to me as there were packs we slid in to make one cup off coffee at a time, but the coffee tasted good.

The air conditioner ran off of a digital thermostat in the room - no guessing what HIGH COOL or LOW COOL mean!

We ventured out to the pool. Its outside on the roof above the parking garage. This meant people on the Interstate had a view of us swimming as they drove by. It didnt bother me nor my family, but it might intimidate some people. The pool was crystal clear, but a bit on the chilly side. There was no Jacuzzi available that I saw, although I didnt check out the fitness center.

There were a couple of issues at night. I kept hearing doors slam, and I dont think it was the door going out to the pool next to our room. The people around us seemed to be slamming their doors every time they went in or out.

Wed also asked for a spare blanket to use in my sons portable crib around 8 PM that night. When it didnt arrive, we just used one of our beach towels to cover him. The next morning I woke up and he had a blanket on him. My husband informed me that the man from the front desk had knocked on the door about midnight with the blanket.

PROS: very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast
CONS: rooftop pool lacks privacy, noise issues, blanket came after midnight
