This place is a joke...brought a new computer in for a "blue screen problem" after a week, and numerous calls to them nothing was done. when i called and the tech was not avaiable to talk i always asked to have a callback. it was NEVER done. I had to pry info from him of which there was little to none. Finally needing my computer for business , I decided to pick it up and bring it else where. The rude owner ,old huge guy up front ,(who NEVER ACKNOWLEDGES THE CUSTOMER when you come in,AND IS ALWAYS SHOVING FOOD DOWN HIS PIE HOLE AND PLAYING ON HIS COMPUTER) charged me QUOTE "50 bucks for wasting our time" um i think you wasted my time having it for a week and telling me NOTHING. By the way the people i finally brought it to had the problem diagnosed within 3 hours.(a fried mother board and video card) which were less than 2 months old (I wouldn't be suprised if these shysters replaced my new parts with. some old crap they had laying around.....DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THAT RUDE OWNER. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DIDN'T.

I recently have used their computer repair service and am very satisfied with the work done and the friendliness and professioinalism with which my problem was solved. I would recommend them to anyone. This is twice I have used them now and feel confident recommending them.

I have been buying both new and used parts from this company since the mid 1990's and have always had good service and no problems with any of the hardware. I have bought everything from memory chips to motherboards and cases and power supplies and they have always given good advice and service. I have dealt with some other similar businesses in the Spokane area and have cheated and ripped off big time, but these people have been honest and helpful and knowledgeable.

I took a Dell XPS in to them to have the faulty power supply replaced. They recognized the case and knew the computer to be a problem right away... a lot of failures on it... they surmised it was largely due to the fan blowing across the hot processor and on to the cooler portion of the motherboard.

They were wary of it in general, but decided to help me out.

The owner's son did the work right away and right in front of me. It was a much more involved process than just unplugging and replugging... wiring was run under the processor fan housing, thermal grease was needed... I think I would have taken some time to do what he did rather quickly.

A "pop" was heard when it was powered up. The owner and his son were distressed but working diligently to figure out what happened. I don't know if there were any protocols missed or if it was my quirky computer, but my hard drive ended up getting fried. The owner said that it was extremely rare for that to happen; they had done this work hundreds of times.

As a result, they replaced the hard drive with a better brand that also had double the capacity at cost, did not charge me for any labor and are currently helping me get the OS going (because Dell didn't send me the software when my computer was new).

I was fortunate to have backed-up all my data on an external HD.

All-in-all, I'd say these guys put their best foot forward when things went awry. To me this shows good character... the most important thing a business can offer in my view and therefore worthy of the 5 star rating (I upgraded from a 4-star after I updated this post below).

Someone else may only be focused on the fact that my HD was fried in their hands... I doubt that is a very typical occurrence (there are certainly those who would say, 'tough luck, we told you this computer had problems').

I'm hoping to get my computer back today with the OS on it.

A little update:

I got my computer back a couple days later than expected (hardware driver issues ran into their day off and then I was busy, so couldn't pick up 'til the end of the day Monday).

The OS and current drivers with updates were installed, some good freeware and Open Source goodies were also installed.

They ended up putting some time into it... NO CHARGE

These guys are going to build my next computer. They are a bit salty, but I like that. Their hearts are in the right place.

This place is a joke. Walked in the doors, noone even acknowledges you because they're too busy playing their computer games. Told me they could fix my laptop by adding new hard drive.
Gave me no estimate on timeframe. I call back 10 days later, said they hadn't got to it yet, but would call me when it's done. No call..
I call again 2 weeks later, said they were still working on it, would call when they're done. I go in 3 weeks later, still not done with computer, but said getting close. Get a call that it's finally done 3 1/2 weeks later. Pick it up. take it home. Nothing is changed and my old hard drive is still in it, however they charged me for a new one. What a joke this place is.. Do not go to this store for anything!!!

This is the worst treatment I have ever been exposed to. Called to ask if they could help me look at a notebook computer to evaluate its condition, the person was rude, short and told that they couldn't since they wasn't invoved with the computer from the beginnig? And hung up on me while talking! I called back, asked again then they told me that they didn't do notebooks! Would have been helpful to know in the first phonecall. Very rude people.

I brought in a list of what I was looking for in a computer, and the helpfull staff made a few suggestions, then built my computer for me. They even kept my computer in thier backroom when financial difficulties arose for me, and held on to it untill I could pay instead of selling it to someone else. The computer they built for me lasted about 4 years before I decided to get something up to date, and I passed it on to a friend who still uses it! I had my new computer built by them as well even tho I live on the other side of town now, and it was worth the drive!

PROS: smart, honest, fast, lots of options
CONS: too far from my house!
