Dr. Bruce Fine

DR. Fine Did my surgery on April 1st 2005. April Fools for real.I was so pleased with the outcome of my surgery.I was 70 yrs. old at the time and had stage 4 cancer.I had a complete hysterectomy & removed 11 lymph nodes.He has a wonderful bedside manner,and a beautiful personality. I then had 28 rounds of Radiation and a few weeks later 3 rounds of chemo. This all kept me in remission for over a year. Chemo was started again in March 2008 and I am still receiving Chemo at this time...........,But my Insurance changed and required me to change Drs.so I chose Dr Munoz which is a fantastic Dr. Also. I owe my health to both of them.

Dr. Fine is a great oncologist and surgeon. He took very good care of me during a very stressful time. He is thorough and believes in proactive health care. He has a great sense of humor, too! If your PCP refers you to an oncologist, demand Dr. Fine!

I'm so grateful that there are people like Dr. Fine in the world. He's an amazing doctor and fabulous person. While under his care, I always felt like he wanted what was best for me and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with all the decisions that were made. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has the unfortunate need of a gynecologic oncologist.

Thanks to Dr Fine and his amazing group I'm cancer free. Sure I did most of the grunt work, but with his help in the OR and the help of the wonderful nurses, and of course chemo I'm here today writing this review. I knew I was in good hands after my fist meeting with Dr. Fine. While waiting to speak to the nurse about setting up my surgery date, Dr. Fine saw me sitting in a chair and walked over and hugged me. He told me, "I was going to be alright'. I was so freaked out by being told that I had cancer 2 days prior it was nice to see I was working with a doctor that cared enough to hug me. It was from that moment that I knew I would survive this messy cancer stuff and that I had the right Doctor for the task. He'll tell you that I'm a hoot and that he wished all his patience had my spirit and attitude but I only have them because of his skills as a doctor. I gave him a hard time and joked around A LOT and he was nice enough to put up with my silliness. I built my cancer dream team and Dr. Fine's my number 1 player. I've referred him to family and friends with cancer. I owe him my life, he's my HERO-Thanks Dr. Fine If Dr. Fine's unavailable see Dr. Alan Munoz his partner, he's super sweet too.

PROS: Top in his field, and just a super nice guy.
CONS: Gotta have Cancer to see him.
