Pinehurst Nursery

Me and my wife went here yesterday and were pleasently suprised by the store. They had a wide variety of flowers and the staff answered all our questions about which flowers need to be planted during which seasons. They also answered numerous questions about what flowers are easiest to grow and what type of care is needed. I appreciate a store that is that atune to the customers needs.

We have two acres of landscaping that we have put in ourselves. At least 50 trees, hundreds of shrubs, etc. We have probably used most nurseries in the area, and even down into southern Maryland.

Pinehurst is fabulous. Everything we have purchased there, from exotic shrubs to standard hydragenas, and especially trees, have thrived! We have had to replace many specimens from other nurseries, but not Pinehurst. They have a HUGE selection of plants, trees, and wonderful specimen trees for that certain focal point in the garden. They deliver, with the option to install.

The place is over 200 acres, and everything is wet and most things are in the ground, well protecting those roots, but it is muddy! Wear boots or shoes that you don't care about getting dirty. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and give great recommendations for problem areas.

They do take credit cards now.
