Whenever there is a performance her that is appropriate for students I immediately order tickets. The students enjoy everything about these visits. They like to feel "grown-up" and they act the part. I have never had a bad experience here.

Part of the Woodruff Arts Center, the Alliance Theatre has three stages - the Alliance Stage (which can seat 800), the Hertz Theatre (which can accommodate 200) and the 14th Street Playhouse, which hosts the children's theatre - and presents everything from Shakespeare to the latest Broadway and off-Broadway hits. As for my first impression of how it looks, I would say the Alliance is one of the most architecturally modern theaters in Atlanta. Since it's located in the heart of Atlanta, an evening at the Alliance is perfect after a day of shopping or before a night on the town.

Most recently, we saw Moonlight and Magnolias, a hilarious play based on the writing of the script for Gone with the Wind and have already reserved our tickets for A Christmas Carol.
