I have been a patient for over 5 years. I have watched the decline of this office. It use to be competent and Dr. Mehdi was attentive. He is never there, the NP's he hired don't know or care what they are doing and what we hear in the waiting room is horrible. The office manager/medical assistant is the worse. I have checked and she isn't nor has she ever been licensed. I have written a letter to my insurance company as she has give me numerous injections without any supervision or for that matter Dr. Mehdi being in the office. I think that you should also know that what has been said and heart about ex-employees constitutes slander. This is the most unprofessional and un-safe office I have ever seen. I have already requested my records and I will be filing a complaint with the board of medicine. If anyone would like to check out these facts just ask to see the medical assistant's credentials.

I have been with Dr Mehdi for 10 years. My family my friends and my co-workers all visit him.Dr Mehdi's and his staff is one of the best. They are professional caring loving relaxed and approachable. In the waiting room all patients do is talk about how great Dr Mehdi and his medical and supporting staff is.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mehdi's for over 6 years. My family and I are leaveing the practice for a number of reasons. First and foremost the practice has gone directly downhill. He use to be a kind and caring person now he is NEVER there leaving his practice in the hands of what many patients will say are two unprofessional and uncarring nurse practioners. As well as a medical assistant who gives you the indication that she could care less if you exist or not. She over the years has gone from a "receptionist" to a mecial assistant and now we guess has been given another promotion to who knows what. She doesn't even wear scrubs anymore. What that practice doesn't get is that we the patients hear everything whether we are sitting in the lab or sitting outside in the waiting room where we sometimes wait up to 2 hours to be seen and then we wait in a room for another 1 hour before anyone comes in. It makes me extrememly nervouse that an np has to check her phone to make me a diagnosis. It's just not the same place. No one cares. I have heard the NP with the blond hair saying to tell patients with mass health to just get out and telling others to just leave. Although she may think it's funny it's not. The dark haired one and Jessica swear all the time, I have never hear the word f....... used so many times in a doctors office and by the way we don't care how may people want to f...Jessica, it's very unprofessional. We can hear all in that lunch room. I am very sad to see the office manager go but with what I and in talking to other patients have heard said about her recently, It's best that she is gone, for her sake. Office business should be office business and we the patients should not know your dirty laundry. As for myself and others leaving, I have no choice. I do not feel safe. I have serious doubts about the np's wondering if they know what they are doing, Dr. Mehdi is never there, always traveling with his wife or whatever and I am afraid of Jessica having so much say in what goes on. Other patients have said she is not even a licensed ma. That scares the hell out of me. There is no one there to go to anymore for help so before I or one of my family members gets hurt I am leaving. I am leaving with much sadness remembering the way it use to be.....

****ATTENTION***** I would like to inform any currant patients or patients looking to go to Primary Preventive Care of Hanover...the medical assistant that works there is not certified or licensed, and she gives shots and who knows what else they do illegally.i would most definitely ask to see her credentials...it is not right that she has the freedom to do this things while the Dr is present or not..in my case the doctor was not there when i received a TB shot.. their practice is questionable at best....i hope this helps anybody that has had some questionable care at that office

I am a patient of Dr. Mehdi. I want to first say that the staff is wonderful except for the medical assistant. She is cold, unfriendly and sometimes very rude. Also you wait in the waiting room for 2-3 hours before you are taken into a room and you sit for another hour. Dr. Mehdi is never there and if you ask me he doesn't care about his practice like he use to. I feel bad for the front staff, they are always stressed and trying to make ammends for his inappropriate behavior. He and the medical assistant are a little to close if you ask me. She has a mouth on her like a truck driver. She doesn't think we can hear her out in the waiting room or in the lab but we can. I and my entire family are switching our care to another practice, I hope no I know there I will find a more professional atmosphere. I will miss the office manager, over the years she has helped me with alot of things. Good luck because in my opinion as well as alot of other patients this practice will need it. I disagree with the last poster. I think if Dr. Mehdi cared about his practice and didn't let everyone else take the blame for his conduct then it would be a better place. I hold him accountable for me and my family leaving his practice.

Dr. Mehdi is simply one of the nicest people you can meet. I have to say, however, I disagree with the other reviews. The office is quite mismanaged. I must go to a different office than these other folks - without a moments exaggeration - you have to wait at least 1 hour for an appointment. You can bank on this - 30-45 minute wait in the waiting room, then at least another 30-45 minutes in the examining room until he shows up. I almost left one time I was waiting in the examining room one time so long. Part of it is he is so friendly he ends up chatting with folks. But this is an absolute fact - 1-2 hours for an appointment. My sister and brother in law already left the practice and we probably will also. Good thing is we are healthy. But again, he is great and is literarlly on call 24/7. Page him anytime and he will call you back. I just have a very busy schedule and will not accept 1-2 hour doctor appointments.

I've been seeing Dr. Mehdi for years and have only glowing reports to provide about the care Dr. Mehdi and his office provide me. The staff is always cordial and accommodating. Dr. Mehdi is through and extremely attentive. He takes extra time to explain everything, suggest alternatives and is available 24X7. When I suffered some extreme medical problems he was always available and even reached out to my family to make sure they were OK and understood everything I was going through. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mehdi and his associates.

PROS: Knowledgable, attentive, holistic when appropriate, cordial, personable
CONS: none

This is a great small medical practice. I have been seeing Dr. Mehdi for a few years now and could not be happier with him or his practice. Appointments are easy to schedule and I never spend a lot of time waiting in the office. I have never had a doctor spend so much time with me on each appointment. Dr. Mehdi is very thorough and pleasant.
