Where to start with this poor establishment. Not only am I dissatisfied but I will never be returning again to ship out an item. And considering this is the only UPS store within an hour from me, that is a pretty big deal. My fiance and I run an eBay consignment business and were using this UPS to ship items. About a month ago, we sold a poster that was worth about $1100 but sold for $100 and decided to ship it through this UPS. Big mistake. We used two rolls of bubble wrap around the framed poster (metal frame and plexiglass) and wrapped it very securely in a box. The woman asked us what we had in the box as part of their policy and we told her it was a framed poster. This poster was a collector's item. We insured it for $100, seeing as that's what a customer paid for it. We do this for a business, we pack things up and ship them out. We've been doing it for years and not once have we had a problem, even when we ship the most fragile items. Unfortunately the local FedEx closed and this was our only option. We receive a phone call the next day informing us that the box was smashed before leaving their store. We had three options: Ship it to customer, have it returned to us, or they could "throw it out". We were of course upset and decided to have it returned to us. About 1/2 hour later we receive a call from the manager who then accuses us of harassing his employee. We tell him that's not the case, we were just annoyed that a $100 item was broken and there was nothing we could do. He then informed us that the item would have never been shipped if we told them what it was, that it's against their policy to ship glass and that the item to him didn't look like a $100 poster. He then informed us that it was wrapped by amateurs and that we were trying to scam them. My fianc said we just wanted our poster back and that we already had to reimburse the buyer the full money and asked if we could be refunded the $30 for shipping. He told us we would absolutely not be receiving the shipping cost back but we could expect our poster in the mail. We then called UPS headquarters where they informed us that they had been sent photos of the poster and that it was scratched and ripped and it looked like it had been that way for a while. Which is absolutely false. They told us there is nothing they can do. We are still waiting to receive the poster and our calls to the store have not been returned.

Brian and Tracey Cantele have brought a much needed packaging and shipping operation to the area. Not only do they
have shipping supplies, they have been professionally trained to
ship nearly any size or shape of package. Their store expands
upon the limited shipping hours available through the UPS
facility on Rte. 66 in Hudson. They also have coping
machines including a beautiful COLOR copier.
