You will locate good finds here, but at a higher price than you would pay at a Goodwill for a similar item. One pro is that everything is very well organized. They offer a variety of women's, men's, and children's clothing, as well as shoes, furniture and other trinkets.

Cons: poor qulaity, bad staff

This vintage shop on South Street has rows of funky vintage clothes. Prices are pretty good for a shop that specializes in vintage wear, but won't be as cheap as if you found it digging around at the Salvation Army. I actually heard that Retrospect is related to Goodwill, and that someone combs through Goodwill stuff to pluck out the gems to sell here. The clothes are fairly well-organized, so it's easy to hone in on dresses, pants, coats, etc. It also has furniture and shoes (the last time I went, it had an impressive selection of vintage cowboy boots).

PROS: Fun to browse
CONS:

Honestly you are better off going to a regular thrift store because it will be cheaper and there will be a better selection, as most of the items that Retrospect has to offer are way over priced and unimpressive. It's just a over glamorized thrift shop. The dressing rooms are not lit and there is no place to hang your items or there's while you are trying stuff on. Is this place a vintage shop or a thrift shop???

so, first off, if you are too lazy to go driving around to every village thrift and goodwill in the tristate area every day, then this is a good stop for you. the prices reflect that they have to do that for you, so while they might not be

Retrospect is a very nice store where you can find a large variety of retro clothes for men, women, and children. The building is very large and very organized. They have a really neat collection of clothes as well as cool home decor pieces. The pieces have been donated and many are in excellent condition. I really love their huge jean collection and neat t-shirts. Going into this store is like being brought right back into the 70s. It is a really neat place. The prices are good and the employees are cool.

A lot of variety, but has the look and feel, of a typical goodwill. The merchandise is much better than a typical thrift store, but much of the stuff is still cruddy (unclean, stained, smelly, etc..). Better quality clothing is to be found

retrospect is the best place to find cool clothes nobody else is going to have. it's got a cool vibe, good music and the sales people are pretty helpful if you need them (which is rare for south street...) anyway, last time i was there i

In Short
Tinged with incense and irony, this spacious store boasts bright retro wares in tall windows along South Street. Inside, neatly divided sections of men's, women's and kids' clothing--plus a generous amount of homeā€¦
