I bought twin beds and a highboy from this company and my children still have it. The furniture is made of birch. I chose a very tough wood because it is for boys. My children tried to destroy this furniture. Kids & Co did everything to help me replace the parts these boys broke. I had a fantastic experience with this company. I had to pay for the parts they destroyed, which I believe is fair. But the service was fantastic. I am sorry to hear the dissatisfied customers reviews. I hope this company can recover and get back to the great company they were in 2000.

I purchased a child's twin trundle bed that ended up cracking and falling apart. They took the bed back and I picked out something different that we really like. Customer service is excellent for replacement if you want to hassle with returns on poor quality furniture some of the time.

My first adventure with Kids & Co. started out shakey.

I ordered an Italian crib/dresser set for my first child and was told it would take 6-8 weeks to deliver. I ordered it in plenty of time, but unfortunately the company had to send it overseas etc. and it was backordered. I didn't find this out until 5 weeks later when I called to enquire. Needless to say, several months later my child was brought home from the hospital without a crib to sleep in. I took up co-sleeping for awhile and about a week later, the crib arrived with a sticker indicating it was MADE IN CANADA! The owner had it delivered and set up at no cost and gave me this cute little nursery table that I liked for free because of my extra long wait.

A few years later I needed a twin bed for my son to move to. I chose to go back to Kids & Co for the selection and quality of furniture. I bought a twin bed and a dresser with a hutch. Less than a year later the top drawer of the dresser cracked (It was a Vermont Precision Product.) Kids & Co. replaced it at no cost to me. Several months later the drawer cracked again in the exact same spot (manufacturer defect that they later fixed in another version of that particular furniture line) and Kids & Co sent away for a new drawer again. A drawer arrived at Kids & Co and when I went to pick it up it looked damaged like they took my drawer and used wood glue on it. They sent it back and I finally got another nice drawer back. A few weeks after that the drawer cracked in the same spot. I took this as a sign (I'm a patient woman) that maybe I need to replace the drawer area with the less decorative bottom drawer since the middle and bottom drawer never cracked due to the lack of decorative separation the top drawer presented. I spoke to a clerk at Kids & Co and she was going to look into it for me. She called me a few days later and told me that the drawer would cost me $138 to replace. I told her no way, no how was I going to pay for a drawer
