Hold it on the bad reviews?. I been going to all the casinos. You cant win at any of them because of all the overhead they have. The Four winds is building a new casino so forget winning there. Blue Chip is paying for the hotel???So why the Majestic Casino because they can afford to pay. I won more at the majestic than two years at the Four Winds.

My headline has to say it all. It is a bad environment, period. Dirty, smelly, smoke-filled (and I smoke), run-down. It looks more like a Gary steel mill than a multi-million dollar casino. The employee's seem unhappy and angry (and I don't blame them). I like to play craps...and some of their dealers can't pay a bet over $20 (get confused). That is not (always) their fault...it is a reflection of the highest management (and ownership), which works it's negative way downwards. The food is HORRIBLE. Buffet-BAD. The "To Go" place-Worse. Had 2 free steakhouse comps...only used 1-it was that bad and there was hair in our food, MMMM! The deli is O.K., but the workers are a little mean (which I understand). The only good thing they had there was Miller Pizza and they got rid of that (or Miller Pizza RAN from them!). The hotel is dirty and run down. Rooms are gross to say the least. My power was out in my area one night and I had a room comp at the hotel available. I stayed home and lit some candles instead. Some major changes need to take place at this casino if they want to survive.

They have redecorated with a slot area that uses tokens. It's the only place in town that hasn't gone completely over to the slot tickets. So you can hear your winnings hit the coin catcher! If you have winnings of course. This casino is nicely decorated and has a friendly staff but, they too have changed something not for the better. On the third level there is no cashier. Only ticket machines. So if you have a bill or ticket that the slot machine won't take, the ticket machine won't take it either. So you must go to the another level to exchange real money. Overall it is ok place to gamble. A bit crowded at times.

This casino is at the same dock as the Trump Casino and to be honest the boats are depressingly similar. I was shocked at how dirty this place is. There are machines packed into every possible spot and people on every machine even during the week. The crowd is crazy, smelly, sweaty, and desperate, not the kind of people I want to be trapped on a boat with. I couldnt even find a common area to just sit for a minute, Im sure all available floor space was being used for money sucking machines.
