We used AllBrand in 2007 in Fountain Valley, CA to replace every window in our home and shutters throughout. It also was the same nightmare described below. I am glad to have found these other comments, because I am in need of a repair, and started investigating to find they are out of business. I actually called my salesman on his cell phone, and he was in NJ out on disability! I am going to try and hunt this WorldWide Windows down-if anyone knows of a working phone number or contact, please email and let me know! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There are other reputable window companies out there-do research and get referrals before signing with anyone. We spent $25K and had nothing but problems.

This is a ripoff company if I have ever seen one. They LOVE you until you contract with them and then they treat you like garbage and rip you off. Stay away from these folks. Not only did they lie to us about charges on our card when we were told it was not submitted for payment; when we called them about it to get resolution....they said, 'you need to dispute it with your card company." Honestly, it blows my mind that these people can even look their customers in the eye, lie about what is owed (even when asked NUMEROUS times), take our money, and then vanish off the face of the earth when it is found out that we were overcharged and basically tell us,'too bad for you'. I went to the company when I found them on the net and them seemed to be credible. NOT!!!!! They are complete crooks and worse off, all of their contact numbers have been disconnected. Every person at this company should be locked up! They are great at shirking responsibility and when contacted with an issue....might as well say - too bad Mr. and Mrs. customer. They are all crooked if you ask me....

I personally have come to believe that the principals at WorldWide Windows are unethical after undergoing over two months of consumer hell dealing with them. Here is what I have been able to piece together: Jacek Pasternak purchased Polybau years ago and actually grew it into a decent business, opening retail outlets under the Allbrand name to market the factory output. Late last year the whole concern got into financial trouble and the Allbrand stores were closed and the Polybau factory and trademark got sold to A-tech Industries (who already owned several factories on the west coast manufacturing windows). Pasternak, his sons, Greg and Damien, reopened the retail outlets under the WorldWide Windows name. They had a marketing agreement with A-tech to continue to market the Polybau factory output. That ended in July. Milgard and Polybau placed the WorldWide stores on credit hold for failing to pay their bills. A-tech contacted all the WorldWide customers that had a Polybau window on order and offered to fulfill the contracts for the remaining balance owed on the Worldwide contracts. That seemed to be a pretty stand-up thing to do. The Polybau factory is a very much ongoing concern and appears to be in stable hands now. I suspect the 1-877 number being disconnected is a glitch associated with the transfer of the brand, and not due to the factory closing. I will never do business with a Pasternak concern again. WorldWide Windows appears to be headed for a repeat of their Allbrand crash and burn. If youre presently under contract with them, I feel for you.

Allbrand Windows is now Worldwide Windows. Stay away from them. They will take your 50% down payment and then jerk you all around and then some. The worst company I've encountered. Good luck with the lifetime warranty, they wont honor anything even if its written on the contract. Ill bet they will change names again and then scam a new batch of fresh victims. Polybau is the owner and looks like in deep waters financially according to a direct supplier so you may not be able to collect even a penny on the judgment. One star rating is ten stars too many.
Stay away from this company.

I used to work for this company, they are every bit as bad as the detractors say. My personal friend and former Regional Manager had the unpleasant experience of defending numerous small claims lawsuits against the company during his tenure. I had to take them to the California Labor Board just to make them pay me. They were even unpopular with their landlords. They were eventually evicted from their Costa Mesa location for failing to honor the terms of their lease. They regularly change contractor's license numbers and company name in attempts to obscure their many angry and regretful customers. Salesmen for the company routinely disguise as happy customers leaving positive reviews on site's like this to counter legitimate negative reviews left by legitimate angry customers. It simply cannot be exaggerated, they really are THAT bad. Google their name, but spell the name ALLBRAND WINDOWS, not All Brand. Ignore the positive reviews mentioning the great savings and newly opened locations. These were left by employees. My poor friend and Regional Manager was in court nearly every week because of botched jobs. It became such a routine, he would try to schedule the court appearances in series to lessen the burden of appearing. When he finally quit, they stiffed him on his pay too. Unlike me, he just dropped the issue. They owed me nearly $500 while I waited a year for a hearing. Thankfully, my efforts were not in vane. I collected over 2K in owed back pay and penalties. As for Amir's comment listed below, he appeared at my hearing when Allband Windows settled my case against them. Where did he get the 32 complaint figure from? And even if that figure is valid, what about the multitudes who accept their sufferings in silence? Resist the temptation to simply assume I am some disgruntled and bitter past employee. Check the California State License board for past associated contractor's license numbers. If your research does not convince you to avoid this company, you deserve to be a victim.

Dear Consumer,
I have been working for Allbrand Windows for over 8 years now. My email address is: folsomamir@gmail.com and my cell phone is (916) 826-3352. Totals for the past 36 months are Allbrand received a total of 32 complaints throughout all 8 showroom in the entire state of California for the past 3 years. Well we also sold and installed over 7200 customers homes in the last 36 months which makes our complaint to sales ratio .004%. So if you know your math less than .004 percent of our customer complain. The other 7178 customers are happy and satisfied.

I have never been treated so badly in my life. Before we signed our contract, the staff was very professional and promising that we would be kept informed of any changes or delays in our order.
Once we signed the contract committing to over 5K of work, we became a forgotten entity. We signed April 26th 2008 with a written contract stating our windows and door would be installed May 26th. On May 26th no one showed up and no one called.
We called our sales person 5 times that day and never received a call back. It wasn't until May 29th that someone finally returned our call, but that was after threatening to cancel the contract.
This is the common theme with these people. We didn't receive our door until Aug 22 2008!! And that was caused because AllBrand Windows was having finacial problems and couldn't pay their vendors!
The branch manager told us that he would give us a price break on our door because we had to wait so long. Instead we get a bill from AllBrand stating that we owe them and additional $29.00.
Stay away from these guys, you can get the same product at better prices if you shop around. They are not worth the headache
