Just a quick note in appreciation of your new facilities, but even more importantly, in appreciation of your outstanding personnel. I consider Ken Cerny to be the best Service Adviser I have ever encountered in over fifty years of buying and servicing automobiles ranging from Chevrolet's to Cadillacs and Mercedes to Toyota's. Ken is simply outstanding and a fine representative of Reno Toyota.\n

Your number one goal is to exceed the expectations of your customers and KENNETH did just that. He is MR. Efficiency himself. He was fast, courteous, and friendly. We had a good experience. He said our car would be ready in 2 hrs., and when we stepped into his office 2 hrs. later, our car just pulled up. How About That!! You are indeed lucky to have him as your employee. Please give him a big thank you for a job well done.

I was sooooo happy that Rolando was back and he returned my call immediately and took over the repair situation. He has been nothing but professional and a wonderful person to work with. How lucky are you that you hired him! He managed to calm me down, present the exact problem with the air pump and a pesky mouse nest and basically work like mad to get me my car fixed by today. He knew I had to go out of town today and at he called me to tell me the good news that my car was finally fixed! \n

The owner of Reno Toyota obviously made a large financial commitment when he decided to build the new facility. It represents what each Toyota facility around the country should be. It certainly provides immediate return in the pride with which your employees perform their jobs.\n

My compliments to your service crew for the excellent\ncare I received during my visit there. My engine light\ncame on during a road trip to California and the response from the Toyota dealership there was somewhere between patronizing and insulting. Amy Curry, on the other hand, was courteous and\nefficient. She explained everything to me without patronizing orrushing. I felt like my '99, 133,000 mile 4Runner was getting (and worth) the best care possible. Everyone from the phone receptionist\nto the young man who took me home was friendly and helpful. There is no doubt that I will cheerfully return for further service.\n\n

Reno Toyota has always done a superb job when they service my vehicles. When there was an issue with the radio in my Sienna, they did not give up until the problem was solved!\n

I have purchased 3 Highlanders from you. I have always found the sales personnel easy to work with - they are friendly, honest and straightforward.

Been here about 7 times, and the service has always been cheap and good. Sometimes, there's a bit of waiting around. For that reason, it would be nice if they had a shuttle to the mall or something.

I will never buy a car from reno toyota again. They never disclose what you are paying for the car until the contract is being signed. Every time I asked them, they said,"" what does it matter if we can meet your payment terms?"" And they never meet your payment terms.\r\n\r\nby the time it was all said and done, not only did I give them my paid off car that was in good shape, but paid as much for a car with 65,000 miles on it as I would have for a brand new one. I paid over 21,000 for a 2004 honda crv with 65,000 miles and the engine light has not turned off since I bought it. Next time I will buy from Honda direct. \r\n\r\nThey also lie so you will buy. The sales person said that I could buy the car at this price and payment now, and come back in a year and they can refinance it for me. I told him that would not be possible because I would be upside down on the car as soon as I sign the papers. His response was well, probably, but you never know! \r\n\r\nAll this dealership cares about is making a BIG buck!

Pros: They are good at stressing you out

Cons: hours to seal a deal never tell you the price of the car

When I was shopping for a Toyota I went to this place and told the salesman what I was looking for. He didn't have what I wanted so he persistently tried to sell me something I had no interest in. \r\n\r\nMany people I spoke with that owned the same vehicle I was looking for told me ""DO NOT BUY FROM RENO TOYOTA. THEY'LL SCREW YOU OVER."" So I bought in Carson City; where I was treated like a real person and not a number. \r\n\r\nIt's been a few years since I bought my Toyota and now it needs a few repairs. I took my car to this ""rip-off"" place and each time the small repair was well over $300. All of it mainly labor. (A rear latch handle was $500 and an antenna was over $300.) I couldn't take the car somewhere else because they already charged me over $100 just to tell me it was going to be a ridiculously expensive repair. I wonder if the new h-u-g-e structure next door (the owners are building) has something to do with the fleecing of their customers?\r\n\r\nI wanted to share this with others who may be thinking of buying a car or taking their vehicle in for service/repairs to this company that majors in taking advantage of their customers. DON'T DO IT. You'll be so-o-o sorry. I will never go back to them again. For repairs find a good repairman in a private repair shop. It may take a while but it will save you tons of $$ in the long run and keep the money in the local Reno economy.
