I leased a car here at the end of July. The experience wasn't very good, but buying a car is never really fun, and I wouldn't bother reviewing it just because of that. But 10 days later, I was called and told that I won a drawing that everyone who bought or leased a car in July was entered in. They'd fill up the tank, wash the car, and I'd get to choose a door prize. Okay, sounds good. I go in, and give them my key. They take me to the other room, where they tell me they are cancelling the lease, and to get my stuff out of the car. The reason I was given was nonsense (when Ford asked me about the experience, I said I didn't like how long it took) and I asked several times what I could do to change things. Nothing, and they already had my key. Long story short, they stole my car. Their is nothing in the contract permitting them to do this; in fact, Ford Credit (who financed the lease) actually said I should sue them for holding my car illegally. Two seperate attorneys, and the state attorney general's office, agreed that it was blatantly illegal and a breach of contract. Another dealer opined that they they probably made the lease to make their monthly quote, knowing they would never honor it. In fact, two other salespeople at other delearships shared personal stories of working at O'Meara, and why they quit (one of which I leased my replacement car from). Ford Motor Company itself was no help; despite owning a lien on the car, they refused to help me in anyway. Even after "investigating", they couldn't even tell me why this was allowed to happen. I would never go to this dealership for anything whatsoever (liars and thieves), and unless Ford does a 180, I will never buy a Ford vehicle either

My husband and I wanted to buy a new minivan and we had already acquired a loan from an outside source. Talked to Paul the night before we went and he made it sound like it would be so easy to get our car and he already knew what we wanted and the payments we wanted. So we went to Omeara the next morning and the minute we drove up there was Jerry, just like a vulture, to greet us. We told him that we were there to see Paul and Jerry said ""Oh I work with Paul so I can help you until he gets here, let me get you some paperwork for you to start"". From there we were there for almost 2 hours. Paul didn't want to come out to meet us b/c he was supposedly sick and then no one could give us a straight answer about anything. We felt as if we were in a 3 ring circus. When we decided to wait and think about it then it got crazy, we were accosted by a manager wanting to know what the problem was, then by Paul who decided to grace us with his presence, then another manager, then 1 more manager, and b/c they somehow managed to get my bank card from me they would not give it back. When I finally told the last manager, with tears in my eyes and my husband cursing and walking away, that we wanted my bank card back and we wanted to leave he got angry with us. We finally managed to get my bank card back and then the finance manager wanted to talk to us!!! Wait it gets better! 20 minutes after we left Paul was calling me wanting to talk to me about what went wrong. Then the next day they decided to call my husband and then text him as well. To sum up my experience with Omeara Ford, it was one of the most horrible ones that I have ever experienced. I have never felt so violated or harassed in my entire 36 years of my life as I did that day. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE TO BUY A CAR!!! Nor will I ever refer anyone to them. I will direct them in the opposite direction.

I would like to tell you about my sales person, her name is Adeline Lukosi. This woman worked her butt off for us. She kept us in the loop by phone and e mail, she was fantastic!!!!!. she was told we could get 4.1 finacing. When we got there Adeline greeted us and went over the car, but much to her surprise, when we went into finance we were told we couldn't get that 4.1 percent, she apologized profusely. I would recommend Adeline Lukosi to every one I know.

I shopped and shopped and shopped some more, A little apprehensive after studying online reviews, but because of advertised unit online decided to make the drive north to O'meara. I cannot really say anything negative other than my salesman Andy Davy was slightly overbearing, However in the long run I was happy he convinced me to take the vehicle I was interested in home to pick my wife up after work because when I got back it was obvious there was another couple that was interested in buying the same vehicle waiting for me to bring it back. When we got there I felt funny about handing over the keys to another salesman so the couple could take it for a test drive. We were able to make a deal I was very happy about, much to the shagrin of the couple who drove it after us. I guess I didn't appreciate the pressure I felt but after taking it home and doing some research I bought the same year vehicle with same options for LESS than any other advertised price I could find online and overall was happy I got the one I did. I am happy. My wife is happy and I would recommend O'meara to others even though I felt a little rushed in our decision making process while I was there.

The salesmen were so incredibly pushy, I will never step foot on that lot again. Although I said repeatedly that I was there to look and not buy today, they kept me there for over 2 hours. Somehow they managed to get both my keys and my credit card away from me, so I couldn't get up and walk out.\r\nBeing a single, female customer, I've come to expect some hassle. They used the cheesiest, shadiest and most utterly shameful sales tactics I have ever heard though. \r\nI probably would have even bought the car, but they stopped just short of temper tantrums over me needing a few hours to think it over. How they've stayed in business 90+ years, I'll never know, but they're not getting a dime from me!

Brian, behind the bar, shakes up the best cosmos we have ever had! They are so good that I asked him to share the recipe and he did. But as often as I practice, I never make them quite as good. The servers are great and they really work at remembering repeat customers. It is like a Cheers bar gone urban. They used to have ""fat"" duck fat fries but made a switch awhile back to thinner ones which are too similar to other restaurants. We like the ""fat"" ones better. Go during happy hour and try out a few of their 1/2 price appetizers and cosmos. You won't be disappointed!

Please, just compare the local Ford dealerships on BBB. With 41 complaints, O'meara tops them all. Barbee's Freeway Ford is second worst, and guess what...it's the same owners! If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does. I was treated well in the door until negotiations started, then came the pressure and dishonesty. When I've gone back to try and make things right, I've been met with more dishonesty and intimidation. Bottom line...There are several better Ford Dealers in town. Avoid this place like the plague!

From the moment I contacted through the purchase of additional options not on this particular vehicle, Elton was very helpful explaining all the details and getting me in contact with Omera's aftermarket department so that the options could be added. The running boards look great and the spray-in liner also looks good.

The gentleman my wife and I worked with, Cory Whitehead? was polite as they come. He was very patient, confident, knowledgeable, kept an open ear to our requests, gave us options to what we were looking for. Very seldom do we make a comment like this, this was the first time we enjoyed purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. When the time comes to purchase another vehicle we will be contacting Cory. On another note, as we finalized our deal it was time to head to financing. It was around 9-ish and we overheard another sales person ask Mr. Tony Gomez if he wouldn't mind sticking around for awhile as he was the only person there. Little did we know he was supposed to leave earlier when they ask if he could stay longer from a previous request. As we walked backed to his office you can tell he was very tired and overwhelmed. What made me remember this, Mr. Gomez said ""I am very pleased you decided to stay with us this evening, congratulations on your new purchase."" Knowing he was tired, he smiled, shook our hands and we started. We stayed in his office for awhile, going over everything, signing everything and being offered everything a buyer would want to know. He was patient, smiled a lot and didn't rush us out. During our visit he received a phone call from his wife and let her know he was sorry, he was going to be late. He smiled again and apologized and we told him we can do this in the morning, which he stated we are almost finished....15 min later we were done. The gentleman my wife and I worked with, Cory Whitehead? was polite as they come. He was very patient, confident, knowledgeable, kept an open ear to our requests, gave us options to what we were looking for. Very seldom do we make a comment like this, this was the first time we enjoyed purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. When the time comes to purchase another vehicle we will be contacting Cory. Found the car I was looking for on autotrader, the car was from O'Meara Ford. I emailed the dealership and got an email back within and hour stating they had the car and invited me to come in and look at it. I was met by a salesman named Eissa (spelling?) who took me to see the car and we took a test drive. I loved the car and decided to buy it. The paperwork only took about an hour as I had a loan pre-approved from my bank and my down-payment ready. Overall, the experience was easy and quick.

But we won't visit this dealership for service!

They were good enough to keep us there for 5 hours until 11PM and then THEY drove our car off the lot and to our house where we discovered the next morning that there was about 600$ worth of body damage from some collision that we hadn't seen in the dark. When we talked to them about it they accused us of wrecking the car (I hadn't even started the ignition until we drove it back to them). They have no intention of addressing this issue and told us ""Well, you own the car now"".

They were good enough to keep us there for 5 hours until 11PM and then THEY drove our car off the lot and to our house where we discovered the next morning that there was about 600$ worth of body damage from some collision that we hadn't seen in the dark. When we talked to them about it they accused us of wrecking the car (I hadn't even started the ignition until we drove it back to them). They have no intention of addressing this issue and told us ""Well, you own the car now"".

The car they sold us, which they promised us had undergone a safety check, has an exhaust leak that is not only expensive to fix but extremely dangerous. This is just one of the many problems with the car that they flat out refused to fix or do anything about. We were also told the car was under warranty when it was not. While they admitted that they lied about the warranty, they flat out refused to do anything about it. The sales manager was very rude, treated us like we were lucky just to have gotten a car from them and nearly ran over our 1 year old son with his golf cart in the parking lot. We are very disappointed to have dealt with these people at all and our only hope is that someone else doesn't fall for their tricks. I urge you to look elsewhere when buying a car.
