hese guys KNOW VW! They have the knowledge and expertise to work on your car, if you need some odd part these guys can come through in a pinch! They have saved my bacon a few times and what a great place to have in town. I would recommend these guys to any of my VW buddies who are in need of a reliable and trustworthy repair shop!
A few months ago we blew out the headgasket on a 1999 Audi A4 with 160,000 miles - had the car towed to this shop because they specialized in European autos. Was given the bad news on the cost of repairs which was outside of our budget - so instead we worked out a deal where Steve bought the Audi from us and we were able to used the funds for another vehicle. Overall I was very impressed with his friendliness, his follow-through and the fact that he remembered my friend later when she brought her car in for repairs. Overall I highly recommend this family owned - family friendly business. Steve and his guys are awesome!
I brought my vehicle to this place and was told that it needed thousands of dollars worth of work and was not safe to drive. Steve offered to buy my car from me at a very low cost. I couldn't afford to repair the vehicle and his offer was very low and decided to try to sell it for more. I had a potential buyer that wanted to take the vehicle and get a second opinion on the problems. I let him take it to his mechanic and informed him that it only really needed a couple hundred dollar repair to make it safe for the road and the rest were preventive maintenance that wasn't even due yet. The buyer felt bad and told me that he didn't feel right buying the car at such a low cost since i wasn't told the truth on the car. He had payed $80 for the inspection, funny cause i was charged $150 for an improper diagnosis. i had my car repaired and it cost me a little over $300 and 2 years later I am happily still driving it. dont trust this guy, he is shaddy and only wants your money.
I like that they specialize in the European brands. Took my Audi A4 there for a pre-purchasen as well as my oil change. Good and honest communication and I'm sure the price rivals or beats any other European specialist or dealer. I will certainly be going to SK Motorsport for my cars needs and future performance upgrades.
I needed a plate light for my e90 BMW. It was a $15 part but they had it courier'd over same day. Staff were very friendly. I asked for help with my carbon fiber trunk. They didn't do the.body work I was requesting but they made sure to recommend me. The facility was very classy and the shop was clean.
