Plain and simple. Someone needs to buy this mall and make it a outlet mall. There are no outlet malls around and the way the economy is shoppers from other cities would shop here. I believe Dilliard's is doing more business than it did before since it changed to an outlet store. I wish someone would read this and think about it!!!

This mall was a nice mall when it first opened BUT then the mall owners either did not care or did not do enough to curb the kids and teenagers roaming the mall....acting like they have no sense...yelling...cussing....etc....So FAMILIES STOPPED GOING My family stopped going because I did not want my children seeing these kids and teenagers acting up and hearing them cussing. The main problem is the Movie Theater, parents would drop off their kids, teenagers and when the movie was out they would roam the malls for hours if they even went to the movie....No supervision so they did what they want and no one stopped them..At one time they tried to curb this but it was to late the damage was done. So families started going to Greensboro or Winston. I wrote CBL about this...I wrote them to put a separate entrance for the theater and restrict access to mall but never heard from them. So I guess they do not care! If they did this and lower the rents so the major retailers will look at this mall again and I can guarantee that FAMILIES WILL COME BACK AND MAKE THIS A GREAT MALL AGAIN!!!

The mall has a reasonable size in that it is small enough to easily navigate with a decent layout but large enough to have some variety. You can tell, though, that the mall is at a point that it is either going to slip into decline or turn a corner and improve because of a change in the tenancy in the last couple of years in particular. The anchors are still intact, but some of the smaller national stores (i.e. FYE, Express, Disney Store etc.) have either recently closed or are closing soon. These national retailers have been replaced with mom and pop type stores (discount/ethnic/urban clothing) that could not afford the same level of rent that a national retailer would or are simply being left vacant which makes me question the health of the mall the next few years. A change in the tenancy from national retailers to a more local "flea market" type ambience seem to be the first signal that a mall is in trouble, yet some malls can reverse this trend if the local economy reverses itself. I hope it does, because, overall, the mall has the potential to be a pleasant shopping destination compared to some of the mega- 1 million + square footage malls.

Oak Hollow Mall is in the heart of High Point and easy to get to from Lexington, Thomasville, Winston-Salem, and Greensboro. The mall is open 7 days a week. The have a Belk's, Sears, and JC Penney's and lot of small misc. stores. My son loves the Disney Store at Oak Hollow Mall. They have a good size food court and a theater in the mall. Great for families. They have a indoor play area in the food court for kids.

A smaller mall, with smaller size anchor stores. However, it is the easiest to access; as the traffic is lighter in this area. There are four major department stores, as well as the usual specialty stores. It is not as crowded as the larger malls in the area, so I find it more pleasant to shop in. Loads of parking available. Besides the food court in the mall, there are several restaurants close by.

This mall isn't the best mall in the area. It is only two levels and seems a little more run down than the rest. The department stores are smaller and rarely have any clearance racks. It seems all their old merchandise gets shipped off to the newer malls. The variety of stores is not up to par with newer malls but you can probably find something you'll like, just don't expect to get it on sale. One perk is that this mall has it's own movie theater. So if you get tired of shopping, you can relax and catch a movie!
