My favorite lunchtime spot! Great, fresh, fast Mexican food made to order. Inexpensive food with great taste. It's crowded, but the line moves very quickly.
Uptown lunch time option. Great specials. Example Cinco de Mayo Special - $5 on variety of food. Enjoy the chicken burrito, chips and salsa. Get a decent amount of servings. Can get crowded around lunch time, line gets long. But, it moves fast.
Salsarita's is a great place if you like mexican food. One of my favorite entree's there is the Chicken Quesadilla piled with delicious grilled chicken and yummy cheese. Try what you want and i'm sure you'll love it.
Salsaritas is one of the places I frequent when looking for variations of things to eat in Uptown Charlotte. They call themselves a 'fresh cantina' and also provide a healthy alternative to the regular mundane (and unhealthy) fast food chains. All of their veggies and meats are prepared daily. They offer a variety of Mexican cuisine from tacos to enchiladas. The lines are long but tend to move rather quickly.

Salsarita's is great Mexican for downtown. The food is very fresh and hot, and the service is good. Just make sure you are prepared to order...they will push you through the line very quickly.
As far as downtown goes, this is a competitor to Johnny Burrito. JB has slightly better flavoring, but I think that Salsaritas tastes slightly better because it seems more fresh. Also, unlike JB, they are more than happy to take any form of payment. Add to that a nice environment to site down and eat, and Salsaritas is a great place for downtown lunch dining.
Pros: Fresh food, Quick Service (even when lines are long)
Cons: Know your order and be prepared...they push you through quickly!
fresh ingredients grilled right before your eyes makes for a delightful meal. beautiful surroundings . .you'll forget you're in the middle of your workday. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, delicious food . . .what more could you ask for?
