I have been in Urban dogs several times because I work nearby and have mostly had ok experiences. I tend not to shop there because the prices are significantly higher than other retailers. While I get it on specialty items, it annoys me on commodity items that you can get anywhere (i.e. Chuck-its). The reason for my review however, is due to a recent experience. For our wedding several months ago, we received a backpack from urban dogs. Since we already had one, we returned it and were issued a store credit. 3 weeks ago, I went into the store ended up special ordering a collar for our dog. First, I waited about 20 minutes at the counter because the only person working there was chatting (not helping) with another customer. When I finally got around to being helped, the woman I dealt with said that it would be 2-3 weeks and then went to process my payment (store credit). Apparently it was my new husband who had filled out the paperwork and although I had the receipt, she would not let me use it since we have different names. She even had the audacity to ask me why I didn??t change my name. I am in the process of it but, regardless, it is none of her business. After I pushed the matter a little bit, she called her manager to ask if I could use it. Then she called my husband to ask if I had ??permission? to use it. All in all a highly annoying visit but I was willing to let that go. Now it has been 3 weeks and I have not heard anything, so I went in today and asked about it. Apparently they waited 2 weeks to actually place the order and the sales associate condescendingly explained to me that they had to wait for enough other people to place orders before they could order from the vendor so my order was going to be another week or so. All fine- but why wasn??t I informed of that when I placed my order? Also, they took my money (ok, store credit) in good faith and sat on it for 2 weeks.

This has to be at least 100 characters, but I don't have anything else to say at this time.

It took a while, but the store has resolved the issue at hand.

I love this store. The service is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. It's fun to browse through the different items. I love how it is decorated as well. Bright colors and an artsy feel. I always enjoy coming here, even if I don't buy something every time. It's especially fun when people bring in their pets. Love this place! :)

Cute store, but won't be returning any time soon. Everything is ridiculously overpriced! I was looking at a particular brush and found it for almost $30.00 less at an independant store a couple blocks away. Again, CUTE stuff, but I', not going to pay triple the cost of an item to pay a mall store's rent.

I never noticed the store until we bought our chocolate lab, and a friend told me about Urban Dogs in Bellevue Square. We found lots of fun and tuff toys for our pup! I was really impressed with how much the staff knew and their willing to tell the truth - instead of just selling us whatever was the most expensive.

Unlike the previous person I did see lots of stuff for all size dogs. It wasnt as foo-foo as some of the small dog clothes but it was practical (and my dog is a boy also).

Overall I found the staff to be knowlegble and helpful and a good selection of treats and toys and breed specific items. All they need is is some bags of food and I wouldnt have to shop anywhere else!!

A friend told me about Urban Dogs in Bellevue Square after I inherited a Husky mix from another family member. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowlegable as well as willing to tell me the truth about what would work and what they didnt recommend. They didnt pressure sell me on anything (which in this day in age is so nice!). I was able to find some good wheat free and natural treats which is a plus, as well as natural rawhide (for anyone who doesnt know the difference, lets just say it stops the silent but deadly). I was suprised to find they even carried clothes in a Husky size! It wasn't as fashionable as the some of the small dogs stuff but still worked perfect!

I would definetly recommend this store to anyone who wants more than just that petco garbage!

This is always a fun store to browse through for fun gifts or dog-related items, upscale collars/leashes/beds etc for dogs.

It is on the pricier side, but mostly well worth it. They have some really nice artistic dog related frames that are expensive, but quality and unique. There is also a line of dog related 'jewelry' that's really nice and when I have a little extra cash, I think I will pick up something I've had my eye on!

This isn't a place you stop by to pick up supplies, and they don't have items for really large dogs. They have a lot of nice collars and leashes, but more on the feminine side and nothing for my Great Danes.

This is a good place just to go in for fun - to spend money on things you probably don't need!! - or to go look for a gift idea or even a card or book for a dog-loving friend.
