This is a great little junior college. I took classes here the summer between my freshman and sophomore years out of Texas A&M. I love the convenient location, seeing all my friends (it was like a mini reunion every time we had class), and the professors.

I've taken several classes at Richland College over the years. I went to a private university and took several summer school classes at Richland to save money and the classes were just as good as those at my university. Since graduating, I've taken classes for fun at Richland including yoga and literature. I would recommend Richland to anyone.

PROS: value, course selection, instructors
CONS:

This place is an awesome place to study. The teachers are all nice and really care for you. They are down to earth and teach what you need to know. The cost is also very cheap, at least a few times cheaper than most colleges. The environment is nice, with a big pond.

Since I was looking to get a degree, and not go broke at the same time, I thought community college was the way to go. The first 2 years of my college experience were at Richland College. The teachers are nice, they want to help, they are very good at helping, and you get the same education for half the price of the university. Not only did I leave there with a good education, I left there with a life long partner. I met my wife, we married after graduation. Thanks!
