We love this place and always recommend people try it. Their red sauce is served warm, has a wonderful flavor and the green sauce is very good. Upon being seated your drink order is quickly taken and the chips and salsa arrive. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our favorite is the carne asada (a thin slice of fajita steak), served with grilled onions, beans, pica de gallo, guacamole (small serving) and tortillas. The serving is large and I always take some home for another meal. My husband prefers the top shelf margaritas - he claims it is worth the extra price. After dinner, try the Mexican coffee. I don't like coffee but this is very good - coffe with kahlua, tequila and topped off with whipped cream. The only disappointment we've had was their flan - which was rubbery - not good at all.

Give them a try. Prices are better than many other area restaurants and the portions are very generous. They are located on Mason Road just south of Cimarron just down from Cici's and Subway.

My husband and I have been long-time La Finca fans, but lately we have not been as impressed with the service, so we decided to try out some other options. We recently visited Las Mananitas, and we think we have found a new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Las Mananitas is located off Mason Road in the same shopping center that houses Firestone, Subway, and Pizza Hut. If you don't know about it, you would probably overlook it if you were just driving by.

The location is not very big, but we were seated fairly quickly. One thing to be aware of is that the smoking and non-smoking sections are not well separated. There is only a small wall (3-4 feet high) between the areas, so if you are very sensitive to cigarette smoke, you will want to ask to be seated away from the divider area. I didn't even notice this at first, but my parents, who were with us, did, and we were seated toward the front of the restaurant, so it was not a problem. If you do have a preference in terms of nonsmoking, you will want to try to arrive early, or you could be faced with a longer wait time.

Upon being seated, we were quickly provided with drinks and complimentary chips and salsa. They have a red sauce and a green sauce. The red sauce is served warm (heated), which is a slight difference from other locations we have visited in the area. Both sauces are excellent.

If you are familiar with the menu at La Finca, then you will find many options here that are similar to the menu there. The key difference is that their serving sizes are larger (for example with the chicken ranchero enchiladas and the enchiladas verdes, you get three instead of two) and they are less expensive. The next thing that we noticed was that their food has great flavor!

Overall, the service was great, the food was great, and the prices were very affordable. We will definitely be going back!
