I can't say enough about this delicious restaurant. Definitely treat yourself to a Mai Tia. They have the best on the island.
This is a great place to splurge and eat on Maui. The food is really great and the view cannot be beat. The fish is prepared very well. I especially like the Mahi crusted with Macadamia nuts. Their specialty drinks are great too. You can see the wind surfers from the restaurant.
We loved eating at Mama's Fish House. Talk about eating on the beach with the wind in your hair. There was even a wedding taking place as we ate. The good was superb.
Mamas Fish House is delish! We went for lunch instead of dinner; pricing is better. The lava drink is really good! View is amazing. Service is incredible. Worth checking out!
Mama's Fish House was a little out of the way, but not too hard to find. It was not bad, but it was our least favorite meal in Hawaii. We tried poi there; it was not very good. The view is beautiful.
It's possible that the romantic and beautiful setting contributed to my appreciation of the food but I absolutely love Mama's Fish House and recommend it to anyone visiting Maui.
The location is perfect- at night everything is lit with tiki torches- the drinks and food are exceptional.

The view of the ocean is so outstanding you don't want to leave. We had a window table for lunch and ate fish prepared to perfection. Their side dishes are very original and tasty
We went to Mamas fish house because everybody said we needed to go there. We had horrible service and the food was nothing to write home about. Very expensive and not worth the wait. The best thing about the restaurant is the view of the beach when you are done eating.
Mama's Fish house is on the north side of Maui - most popularly included as an end to the day touring the Road to Hana. The food is unbelievably good and fresh here. I had a stuffed snapper dish and my husband had pulled pork. We were both blown away. It is located on a beautiful beachside property. Take the time to stop and take a look at the water and the banyan trees, maybe even take your camera in with you.
A meal for two including drinks ran about $150. It ain't cheap, but nothing in Hawaii is, so splurge here. You won't regret it.
Mama's Fish House has it all, great everything, location, ambiance, service, food. This is one of the priciest restaurants on Maui, but, you're in Maui, you're on vacation, go.... the whole experience is worth it. The menu changes daily, depending on what fish the local fishermen catch. The perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or end a vacation. This is in my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time.
We loved the Inn at Mama's Fish House. We stayed in the studio. Not only was it huge, but it had a kitchen as well. It also had its own gas grill as well as a shared washer and dryer. We also found it nice, as they provided full beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, coolers, snorkel gear, buckets and shovels).
When you want to go out for a special occasion, this is the place. Best fresh fish in town. Impeccable service. You can??t go to the bathroom without someone recreating a masterpiece with your dinner napkin. They use fresh fruit and fresh coconut milk in their tropical drinks. Delicioso.
