Do Not Go To Shala

Do not go to Shala! They rip you off, they charged me over $200 and did not tell me, when I questioned it they said "Too bad." Very unethical practices. I would never step foot in that place again. Shala (the owner) kept barking orders at everyone and made the girl doing my hair do 2 other people's hair at the same time, it took 3 hours to get partial highlights.

Totally Me is a small business that's run from a home. This really is a beauty parlor but provides a range of services like waxing, threading of eyebrows, upper lips, facials etc. Most places only provide waxing for eyebrows and upperlips, NU look provides threading which is a better option and appeals to a lot of women.The facilities are clean and the charges are reasonable. I would recommend this place without any hesitation.

Fantastic colour !

I have finally found someone in Orlando who understands my hair and what I want ! Juliette was amazing and I am so pleased with the results ! What a coincidence that she is a Brit too. I feel so confident with her that I could let her do what she thinks is best for my hair. The very first person that I saw after having my colour done commented on how pretty it was- albeit he was a teenage packer in Publix ! Saying that, my boyfriend also said how lovely it was and asked could she cut hair too as he has had disasterous results at our local Hair Cuttery. So he is waiting to see what she can do with him. I know he won't be dissapointed ! Thanks Juliette ! I won't trust anyone but you with my hair from now on !

Great color & style specialist!

I've been coloring my premature gray since I was 17...retired military so I've used my share of salons...I'm pretty much sold on Goldwell color... I have to say I am very pleased with Juliette who I thought was just a color specialist but come to find out is also a whiz with cuts as well. Her daughter is a national champion in the UK for cuts... she usually comes and visits her mother a couple of times a year teaching her the newest and greatest cuts internationally...It usually takes a new stylist several visits to get my hair right...she got it right the first time and gave me an updated cut very close to what I had but more updated...
Loved the staff, very friendly & personal....since I'm new to the area I had no one to watch my daughter...she brought her leapster and all was fine...I brought my 7 year old back the next day for a wash and trim...everyone was lovely.. Although I do enjoy my time at the salon/spa without children...I consider it "my time".
I highly recommend this salon and if you're looking for something fresh and new...ask for Juliette. I can't wait to try their other amenities!

The staff is professional and caring with only your best interest at heart. It is the best place to go with the best results I have ever come in contact with. I have always been impressed with their knowledge and exceptional customer service, they truly go that extra mile for their clients. I simply love this spa.

Not a kid friendly enviorment

If you're a stay at home mom and take your children everywhere you go because you don't have an alternative, this is not the place for you. If you are getting any waxing or facials done. They don't allow children in their back rooms. They don't relate last minute bookings to their staff and get upset with you if you are pressed for time. They show no flexibility to their clients. Take your business to Shala Salon on Dr. Phillips Blvd and Sand Lake Rd. They offer the same services, same price and allow your children there. They will try to accommodate you as much as possible.

Amazing!

The moment I stepped into Totally Me, I felt so welcomed. The receptionist and all the staff are so friendly, polite and professional. There are a vast variety of facials to meet every skin need and my personal favorite is the Signature Facial; it's to die for! The atmosphere is so relaxing and the serene music let me drift off into a calm sleep while my skin was being rejuvenated. Everything is very clean and quite nicely decorated. The services certainly surpassed my high expectations. HIGHLY recommended!
