I joined the gym but I wasn't attending as much as I should, I knew that I have to pay for the year contract. At the 11th month, I gave the 30 days notice to terminate the contract. I was told that even I signed in the premises for the cancelation I must contact the headquarters office. I called the office -No problem - they stopped charging the monthly fees to my credit card. Perfect - Until I received a letter from a collection company a few months latter. The original agreement had a line for automatic renewal unless you check mark in front of that line. How about my notice phone call to the Corporate office?Ohhhh! there was nothing in writing. After many calls and a couple of letters they took me out of collection. Don't forget the time for the many steps to clear out my credit.

This is an all ladies fitness center!!!! Nice classes and nice people- although I am unsure why men work there?! It is much nicer walking into than most clubs in the miami area. Great trainers and child center. Overall a good center

I was a faithful member in lady's fitness center.. The people are sweet when they want you to join but after that they leave you on your own to mess up your credit. I moved to north carolina due to family issues from the army and tried to cancel my membership being because they dont have a fitness center here.. And it was impossible to cancel even after they were giving the proof of papers they needed. Now they still charge my credit card and you would call them and they would give you the run around..They are very unprofessional, and everyone is the manager..

Cons: The worst people to give your credit card number to.

I worked for Living Well Lady Fitness and Spa for a few months and literally was shocked by the deceit, and scamming that went on in this business. The owner, Yami Manesses is bent on greed. I was in sales and later became a fitness trainer there. I loved the women that I worked with, but the managers only focused on us obtaining more and more members and money. When women wanted to cancel their memberships (as they had the right to) they were purposely ignored, for months on end. It is clearly stated in the contract that women have 30 days to cancel, but it is not so. Women were constantly calling everyday and leaving tons of detailed messages for the managers. None were followed up on. Numerous times I have seen messages ripped up and discarded in the trash.
As time went by, I became very uncomfortable working there. It was ridiculously wrong at times. Women threatened lawsuits. One particular member was badly injured in the gym one evening on the spinning bike (bleeding) and had to receive medical care. I heard the apathy in my managers' voice for the woman and she never returned the members? calls. The woman, in turn, got a lawyer involved at that point.
The main objective of this company to trap defenseless women into memberships and ruining their credit. It got to a point where I began to discourage women from signing up (secretly, of course). I saw my mother in these women. I saw my sisters, aunties and friends. They were no longer mere women. These are people with families and feelings as well.

To this day, the company remains secretive. If you do not believe me, call them and ask them for the number to their corporate office. They have completely removed it from the internet and only provide the address. (So there is possibly no way for any one to contact the office other than by mail) and if you call and nicely ask for the number, they will place you on hold and never give it to you. I called the other day asking for the number to corporate and I was placed on hold. I thought maybe it was busy in the gym, so I hung up and called back 3 times and the manager kept telling me to hold on, but would never come back to the phone. I explained to her that I was a former employee there and I needed to contact the corporate office. The manager, Johida, did not give it to me. She said that she did not "know it" and hung up in my face.

I was very upset. So I called this morning and someone else answered. I nicely asked the employee to provide me with the number and she told me that I would have to call back later and speak to the manager, Johida. I pleaded with the young girl to give me the number so I could obtain my W-2 and she did. I then breathed a sigh of relief.

There is something definitely wrong with the company. God sees all and greed will never get you anywhere. Those people will pay for what they are doing. If not in this life, surely in the next! Here, the number to the gym is (305) 895-6686. Call and ask for the corporate number and you will see what I am telling you.

By the way, the corporate number is (305) 378-9021, for those of you who'd like to file a complaint (who knows, they are all probably in on it together)

I got a great rate for this gym. But i decided to cancel right after signing up. I went in on the first business day after signing up to process a 3 day cancellation and or deliver a letter of cancellation. I was told i would have to come back the next day because the manager had to be there in order for me to cancel. I told the young woman i had went i out of my way to come and it was about 2 hours from closing time and the contract does not state the manager has to close account. This same young woman was the same young woman who signed me up. I told her i brought in my letter of cancellation as well instead of mailing it can i leave it. She said okay. She will place it with my paper work, expect my reimbursement in 30 days. Well in 30 days i receive a charge to my account. Following that i went through 7 months calling their corporate office Life Style Fitness. Many times no one picked up phone, voice mail boxes were full, i mean i tried calling even the employment line and even had a representative from the company that does their billing to call at 1030 and no one picked up. At first i called and was told the matter would be looked into one i did get someone, then later i was promised my account would be canceled numerous times, that i only had to wait for the reimbursement. After 6 months i was told by supposedly a supervisor that my account would be canceled on a specific day and my refund would take a little while. After a month later a i received a later from a collection agency, which i thought was a check. Now after numerous calls for 7 months im finally told because certain paper work wasn't passed on, by an employee that could've told me she didnt know what she was doing that i either had to mail that letter or come back , i am told i am responsible for the owed amount after numerous times of telling me i would be getting money back. I owe for a 2 year suscribtion, which i will be taking legal action against, a lesson learned to back up paper work.

Pros: i did not try the equipment but i did find the rates to good and it seems like a great enviroment for women

Cons: employees that are very professional
