This place is great. The service, the food, the service, the food, did I mention the food? Wow, it buries La Paraquilla! This has got to be one of Kennesaw's best kept secret. The food is fresh and tasty. I have yet to have anything bad there. From the grouper tacos to the the chicken fundido -- the fundido, omigosh, whether as the chicken entree or the appetizer, yes, it is a heart attack on a plate, but what a way to go.

I don't understand why this place isn't packed. It sits sandwiched between a Longhorns and Thai Peppers (which is also good) and the parking lot is crowded but this place is not. I can't figure that out.

The other things to try there are the native drinks -- I like the jamaica myself, but they have a variety of flavors. They come in a huge glass and taste heavenly. I know of only other place that sells drinks like this (down near GA Tech) but these are frothy icy delights.

This place is definitely worth checking out. If you are into Los Reyos or some such, then you may not fully appreciate the food, but if you are looking for Mexican food which actually somewhat resembles what you might find in certain areas of Mexico (my sister lives north of Mexico City), you will definitely find some pleasant surprises here.

Pros: service, freshness of food

Cons: parking is challenging
