Pros: pvt. studios and instruction

.

I have been taken lessons for several years now. My instructor is very motivating and encouraging . I am an older student and work so I do not have alot of time. My instuctor works with me works with me on the stuff I want to learn and does not waste my time. The recitals are great performing with a live band. I also have my two kids taking guitar and drums as well and they LOVE it!!! I have gotten so much out of it that I have actually started performing again and am making some money to boot. I would highly reccomend this place.

Pros: Great instructors, personalized curriculum

Cons: none

I've taken lessons here at the school for seven years. The quality of the instructors is unmatched from any other school or personal instruction I've ever experienced. The lessons are amazing and you certainly get a lot for your money. Your own personal growth depends solely on how much you're willing to put into the lessons and the patience that it takes time and practice, practice, practice to improve your skill - not something you can master impatiently for $175 (like another reviewer) besides this school teaches music - not just the ability to learn a song, that isn't learning how to play or make music. Learning to make my own music has been the greatest reward of my time spent with lessons. I have lots of fun in my lesson, meeting other students and teachers and playing in various recitals and jam sessions. I highly recommend this school and it's instructors over any other.

Pros: private practice rooms, latest in music technology, convenient locations

Cons: time goes by too quickly

I wouldn't recommend this place. It's very expensive and the quality of instruction isn't very good. My instructor expected me to go straight from learning scales into soloing, yet couldn't show me how when I asked him. I spent three lessons telling him I didn't get it, and even when I told him exactly what I needed him to show me, he couldn't do it. He showed up 15 minutes late to our last meeting and several times other instructors would walk in and have personal conversations during my time! I spent $175 and only learned one song. Save your money and go buy a DVD.
