This salon is a grade A salon. The energy is upbeat and the stylist are very professional. My stylist Toni Stover is more than just a stylist. She has been doing my hair for 7 years and has manged to always keep me updated with the latest trends and styles. After a long day at work I look forward to resting my head in the shampoo bowl, where she always takes care of me! Well worth it I promise.

I am a very young client of Toni Stover who has been doing my families hair for a very long time. My stylist is awesome with color and trendy cuts that are suitable for teenagers my age. She also does extensions that are unreal! Love the salon, they always offer yummy cookies. Also they carry really cool clothes,purses & earrings..

Leza is terrific. Worth every penny. She really works hard at extractions and gives a great shoulder massage in between applications. She has shown the most concern over my facial complection of anyone i have ever tried. I 've been to alot of places in town but now i won't have to look any farther.

Toni who does my extensions, is upbeat always has a smile on her face. Will go the extra mile for her clients. Will definitely recommend her to anyone who wants extensions or just a hair cut and color. She knows her stuff.

James is awesome! I have very curly hair and tons of it. James is able to blowdry my hair to look silky and smooth...no straightening iron needed. They have every detail nailed down in the salon and are always so courteous (beverage service anyone?).

AND, James is donating his time to Locks of Love. He is a good man...good soul.

Can't say enough great things about James and The Loft.

Stacey Fishberg is excellent! She is such a sweet lady and is very, very professional. I go to her for my brazilian waxing needs! I went else where before to get waxed and I remember it taking FOREVER. Then, I decided to go to the LOFT because I noticed the prices are very reasonable (and I went there before to get my hair done and liked it). Stacey gets the job done fast! I highly recommend going to STACEY for all your waxing needs.

The most cute and relaxing atmosphere, and my stylist Amy Lara, was so talented. The whole staff was friendly and professional, and the studio was clean (a BIG one for me) and beautifully furnished. I will definitely be going back to the Loft. Great service, great price, and great haircut.

I was looking for a new hairstylist and my friend handed me Amy's card. She said I absolutley had to go to her. I made an appoinment and was very excited. When I arrived Amy approached me with a smile with kindness!

Now I have extremely curly and frizzy hair and I usually just do a trim and highlights. But Amy suggested I cut some of the length and make it less heavy looking...I loved the idea! Since I do have such thick hair I usually just put it up and she suggested we color the bottom a darker color with the highlights on top. Again I loved the idea!!!

By the time she was done not only was I so happy with my new hair I got a really good friend out of it! I love my hair and I love telling people about Amy and her talent! With her talent and warm heart you can never find a better stylist out there than Amy Lara.

Okay so I've always had long hair, always but this summer I decided to try something new and with this weather, I wanted to go for a shorter look. So me and my sister went to The Loft and I was attended by a very pleasent young lady. Amy, she was very profesional and understood everything I explained about my views on the type of hair cut I wanted. Everything turned out better then I could have imagined. My hair is beautiful, I get compliments about it all the time, from family, friends and even strangers and I will always recommend Amy. I am so happy with my results that I would be pleassed to have her do my Wedding day hair and make-up. I will always get my hair done with Amy. I highly recommend her.

Go see Ginger! I've been going to Ginger for well over 6 years (even when I didn't live in the same state). She is not only a very talented hair stylist and color specialist but a great friend after so many years! We miss her dearly in FL.

Stacey was very nice and relaxing. She works fast and thorough. The atmosphere is very comforting. You get much more than you pay for. Everyone is really nice there. The customer service is excellent from the moment you walk in to when you leave.

Went to Ginger Arocho for my first salon visit since moving to Las Vegas and she is terrific. She is good at listenig to what you need and want and is very professional in her scientific and creative approach to hair design. My color is beautiful and the cut is precision. Highly recommend her to anyone.

Las Vegas is a lucky city - Ginger has arrived! I've been a client for over 10 years, and I won't consider letting anyone else touch my hair. Ginger is an extremely talented and knowledgeable stylist who really listens to her clients and learns their hair (she gets to know the person too). Hair first!

I have been to 4 salons in the past 4 months. After reading the reviews on city search and checking out their website I decided to give it a try. Aaron was so sweet and very personable. Im finally happy with my hair after 4 months of hair torture. He was also kind enough to give me a sample of a product before I committed to purchasing it. I have an entire box full of hair products I don't use because they worked in the salon but not at home. This place is family owned, how cool is that? Really hard to come by these days.

Ginger is really really great at what she does! She really gets to know her clients so she is better able to provide to them what they are asking for. I have used Ginger for the past 12 years and was very, very sad when she moved away! I would even fly two states over for an appointment with her! If you are able to get an appointment with Ginger, you will not be disappointed!

When I moved to Las Vegas 5 years ago I didn't know anyone, especially a hairdresser. Shelley was a God send. I have followed her throughout the years. She is fantastic with color and knows exactly how to cut and style my sometimes difficult head of hair...thin, fine and aging. She cuts my husbands hair which is thick, curly., hard to cut and does a terrific job, as well with my teen age daughter--cut and color and my teenage son with ever changing styles. We trust her completely, she is very easy going and accomodating, a pleasure to deal with...I highly recommend her.

I am relatively new to the area and as us girls know we need to find a good hairdresser!! and that can be quite a challenge. I happened to call into another business in the Summerlin area and spoke to a young girl and commented on how lovely her hair was. I asked who did her hair for her she told me it was a girl called Tony who worked at The Loft. So I booked an appointment with Tony and I am so glad I did. She listened to exactly want I wanted and cut my hair beautifully. It was a lovely salon, very friendly and I will be booking my next appointment very soon. Well impressed!!!

Jay has been cutting & coloring my hair for 15+ years, cutting & trimming my husband's mountain-man beard & hair, cutting & coloring my 3 daughters' hair, and is now starting the hair-cuts on the grand-kids. You can count on Jay for the perfect color, cut, style - no matter your age, personal style, or lack thereof. He is not only a great sytlist, but makes you feel like you are the "queen" for the day when you are in the chair & woman of the year when you walk out the door looking great! Toni Stover, the hairstylist whom cut and styled my hair did an absolutely fantastic job. My hair has never felt so healthy nor been so shiny. It has been a week and I still have a shiny glow to my hair (one that usually fades after the first wash). The service and the facility was outstanding. "The Loft" was an immaculate facility that was very lively and welcoming. I recommend this beauty salon to anyone that wants a grade A, in-style hair-do. Whether its just a trim, or a "cut and color", "The Loft", is the the place to go.

The Loft gave me horrible highlights; not once but twice. The second time was a fix-it job. They looked awful, many mistakes. Feel free to contact me and I will send you photos. I finally had to go to another salon to get them all corrected. This is what the stylist (the skilled one!) who wasn't at the Loft said:

Highlight pattern is inconsistent; fine in some areas, chunky in others.
Highlights were not close to the root in most places, and also left an orangy-rusty color at the root where the bleach ran into the root.
Highlights were not painted parallel to the root; some had been painted at a slant (again, email me if you need a picture of this).
Hightlights were not full saturated with bleach in some areas; as evident by some strands being bleaced; others (the same strand) being dark; alternating with that and orange. This produced an overall spotty affect..

She said it looked like I did it myself from a box. This was a horrible place. The first person lacked experience; and the second person, the Director (at $90) a haircut was rude and fought me the whole time (didn't agree with me in terms of the poor quality), and did NOT fix the highlights. He covered up a few spots where the bleach didn't take but overall they look like horrible.

Stacey is a magican when it cmes to sore backs and facials. I have limped in barely able to walk and when Stacey was done, I took my horse on 2 hor ride with NO PAIN! I have seen her for awesoe facials. While no waxing is ever without some discomfort, Stacey's technique is the best I have experienced in over 20 years AND none of those painfull lttle red bumps! She provides an incredible service at more than fair prices. I highly highly highly recommend her - she'll treat you right!

Raquel At the Loft! She has been doing my hair since she was at red rock and i followed her over.....SHES awesome with color and cuts. Raquel also cuts my brothers hair. She as a great personality and really easy person to talk too, who actually LISTENS! definetly recommend her! SHE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

I made an appointment at the loft for my eyebrows and lip to be waxed after seeing the reviews here. My appointment was made with Stacey and let me just say, it took me longer getting there than it did for her to do her thing! So quick, I didn't have to wait, and she took care of business and did a fantastic job. Stacey is also very friendly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed (as much as you can while getting waxed anyway).

Have been in the Vegas area for almost a year, and FINALLY found a place I will be going back to. Based on my experience, I will definitely consider scheduling my next hair appointment at the loft as well. Regardless, Stacey has my business. Thanks so much!

Jodi at the Loft is a wonderful stylist. I always feel great about how my hair looks! When I want something changed - she listens and sometimes seems to be able to read my mind! My color and cut look amazing and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else!

If you are visiting Vegas or live in the area, you have to go see Jay at The Loft. I lived in Vegas for 6 years and I never let anyone else touch my hair. He is amazing with color and cut. He always knew the right color that looked great on me. I have naturally curly hair and he ALWAYS did a perfect cut. I miss him so much, ever since I moved back to Alabama my hair has not been the same! He made me look amazing on all my night outs on the Strip and I have so many pictures to prove it! Thanks JAY!

Definitely enjoyed the treatment I got with Stacey. She was friendly, nice ambiance & I left feeling great with glowing skin.

I was not impressed with the haircuts I received at the Loft. I tried two different stylists. I picked one stylist based on her bio on the Lofts website the other based on internet reviews. The stylist I picked based on her bio was friendly. My hair didnt look too much different from when I went in. Not a bad thing I just wasnt wowed by my hair. The second was the stylist based on reviews. She was friendly but I felt like I was on an interview, she was asking too many questions & personal ones at that. As for her cutting skills she definitely needs to improve/update her cutting technique, my layers were very messy. She did a good job with my color, though. I dont want to leave names as they werent horrible stylists just maybe not where I personally like my stylists to be talent wise.

I had a Brazilian Wax By Stacey and she did a great job. I have been to many salons had very good and very bad experiences this was wonderful. She was fast and efficient I have been back now several times. The salon overall was clean and all the people seemed very friendly and helpful.

I first had my hair done by some lady. She didn't do such a good job. I was recommended by my cousin to visit Racquel at the Loft Salon. I wanted to go light brown and blonde highlights on the top of my hair with bangs. We both threw opinions on my hair and how would it look good. We put them together and viola! She not only did a wonderful job she fixed my hair to something beautiful. Now she does my dads hair and my entire family!!! Not only them my friends want Racquel to do their hair! I really recommend her. She is soo sweet and easy to talk to. She is basically family. I love her and im pretty sure you will too. :D
Nothing can compare to the service at The Loft Salon. I felt so comfortable.

Are you getting married and need your hair in an 'up do'? Then ask for Jodi. I live in NYC and got married in May in Las Vegas. I found Jodi through citysearch or google, by pure luck and I am so glad I found her. We had a trial run back in November 07, where she did a great job then, but on my actual Wedding Day she did an amazing job, I could not have asked for a better stylist. Jodi is a lovely young woman, who gave her undivided attention to me and my Mom. If even a hair was slightly out of place, or we didn't like something, Jodi was more than willing to re-do it until it was absolutely perfect. She was amazing and had the patience of a saint! Jodi also did my Mom's hair too, and my Mom loved it, and I think its the best my Mom's hair has looked in a long time!!

I went to The Loft to get a few layers put into my long curly hair.......I had had my hair cut about a month before at a different salon, and that stylist cut my hair to the right length, but put no layers in at all. When I got to the loft, I got a wonderful scalp massage and shampoo and I thought I was in for a great haircut....but as soon as the stylist cut a 7" piece of hair from the top of my head I was worried. I should have known something was wrong when she forgot to put a cape on me until halfway through my cut, and I was also worried that she hadn't seen how my hair was dry, and that she would misjudge my curls....and yep I was right. I walked out almost in tears because I now look like Sanjaya with a mullet....I'm not even kidding, all of the layers (which look like they were cut by Helen Keller) end at the base of my scalp and I've got a little bit of hair that is about 6 inches long in the back still......all I wanted was a few long layers cut into my one length hair. The one saving grace is that the mullet and the layers are just barely long enough to pull into a bun so I can hide it until it grows out and can be fixed. A friend of mine recommended the place and she liked her haircut, but I was extremely unhappy and caution my curly haired friends to beware!

I was recomemded by my coworker to this salon. Formly a hair stylist myself. It's always been a horrifying experience going and trying to find a hair stylist that would remember to bring their brain to work with them. I saw James at this salon. He saw me on time. I told him how my hair has always been cut and styled. He offered his advice, and I agreed to try his techniques for a change. My hair turn out great. He knows I don't like overly styled hair. I felt great leaving his chair afterwards. Normaly when I go to a salon, I would tell the stylist to cut off one inch when I really needed more cut off. Because I always ended up having to fix it myself at home and that would cause me to lose more length. But James didn't mess it up. So now my hair is still too long. I might have to see him soon again. I got what I was looking for, professional hair cutting techniques. Only thing was, maybe the receptionist was having an off day. Because I really didn't get a sense of welcoming to their salon as a first time customer. Now I work in a high end retail store. I know too well the importance of first imprssions!

Lets just say that I am pretty obsessed with my hair if you can't already tell from my user name. I have been to a couple of different salons here and there and before I came to The Loft, and I wasn't satisfied with my hair. Finally I was told that I should try this new place (and this was about two and a half years ago when it opened might I add) called The Loft. I found out quickly that the atmosphere was friendly and the people working there were nice and helpful. My hairstylists name is Amber and she did an amazing job on me. She knew exactly what I wanted and she made me feel very comfortable by talking to me the whole time and she also explained to me what she was doing. I have been going to her ever since and I highly recommend her. I couldn't believe it when I saw a bad review about my hair stylist. Everything that was said in this persons review (who will remain anonymous in my comment to avoid further embarrassment ) was a shock. Amber has always been on time for my appointments and not once have I ever been disappointed with my hair. The Loft is a high class studio for the hair and body and they do everything they can to satisfy their clients. As far as I'm concerned, I have been 100% satisfied.

For about all my life now, I have been to probably hundreds of different hair salons and none of them had satisfied me. One day, I had just left the mens warehouse on charleston and merialdo and I just happened to look out at the sign above me and saw The Loft, a studio for hair and body. I was needed of a hair cut so I just thought, what the heck? I might as well try this place out. So I went inside and right away I was surprised by the look of the place. It seemed very elegant and calming. At this point I couldn't wait to see what these people could do. The receptionist was very kind and ask if I wanted any coffee or water until a hair stylist was finished with there client. At this point it was packed. Obviously this place is very popular and they make there clients return without question. Everyone that was working in the salon had asked how I was doing. They all were very kind. A couple minutes later, a hair stylist named Amber Wolf called my name and asked to come to her station. She was very kind to me and I asked her if she could do something with my awful hair. She knew exactly what I had wanted. Later on, after she was finished cutting and styling my hair, I was astonished! I had never seen my hair look so good before. I gave her a big hug and left her a big fat tip. I right away asked for her card and thanked everyone for being so kind. I told Amber she will definetly be hearing from me again. I highly recommend The Loft, a studio for hair and body for everyone.

I showed up on time for my appointment and was told there would be a 10 minute wait. It turned into a 40 minute wait and the salon was not busy and I was not offered anything to drink, nor did anyone ever check up on me to update me on how long it would be despite the fact that I was literally 3 feet in front of the front desk girl the entire 40 minutes. My stylist, Amber, hardly said anything to me. At the end she told the front desk girl to charge me $65 and then walked away. I asked if that was the price taking into consideration my 40 minute wait, and the girl simply replied "that's just the price she told me." I paid the $65 and only the $65 but I'm sure Amber knew she wasn't getting a tip and over charged me to begin with! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND. This salon is an embarassment to the industry and to Las Vegas hospitality. And NO, I'm not happy with the results of my simple trim!

I got my hair done by Monica. She recovered my hair from a disaster haircut at another salon. She was very helpful and informative. She took time to listen to what I wanted. She made me feel very comfortable. I went to Monica becuase of another review on citysearch that was written about her. I read very positive things about her and was far from disapointed with my own experience. I will definately be going back to her. I've lived in Vegas for 5 yrs and she is the fourth hair stylist I've been to. I won't be looking any further. I also think it helps the reader to know the writters age for salon reviews. I'm a 31 yr old mom with style and a young heart and I feel Monica helped reflect that perfectly.
