I became a member on 2/1/09 and was having real issues with walking. I had issues with a severe limp on my right side ands was not able to play golf or to practice. In three short months Sandy Shafer the trainer I work with has changed my life. The limp has gone from a big and very noticeable limp to either no limp or very little. I can practiceGolf again. It's an absolute miracle. The facilities amenities, equipment and the best trainers on earth have changed my life. The Sports Club/LA is the ONLY place to workout!!!!
Pros: Best facility, best trainers, best location
Cons: none

I am so happy I joined the club! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the trainers are highly qualified. I especially love the Pilates/Gyrotonic studio here. I've tried a couple instructors and they have all been fantastic. Having my own tv on each piece of cardio equipment makes me actually do it, too, since I can watch project runway as I run. Great, positive experience!
Pros: Pilates Studio/Management is helpful
Cons: none

always wanted join the sports club la but it was waaaay too expensive. got a daily candy last week that said it was only $150 start up. i think it used to be like $1000. monthly is $160, so i jumped at the chance and it was well worth it. i've gone like everyday since - i'm a life-er!
Pros: new pricing!

Nice and clean but ridicously overpriced for what it is. It does not have the ammenities of the sepulveda club nor the expansive size.

The classes are great and the staff are very friendly. It isn't anywhere near the size of the West LA club, but everything is nice and new. I love the locker rooms. No real complaints. If I want to swim I go to the west LA club. If not, this is just as good.
Pros: Nice People, Good Equipment, Great Classes
Cons: none really
