This is a great zoo and very fun to take kids too whether it's with the family or a youth event. The staff is friendly and the zoo is well kept and pretty clean.

Woodland Park is a Seattle Landmark and a must see if you are in Seattle. It is fun for the kids and adults alike. The amount of volunteers that care for the animals is amazing and their knowledge is fun for kids to hear. A great day with the family and we dolove the bears.

This zoo is unique, in the the animals have natural habitats, rather than just cages. They have large roaming areas, more like real life. The downside of this is that they are able to hide, and you do not always get to see them so much. It is a beautiful zoo, and it is a real pleasure to spend a day here.

This is a wonderful zoo. It's huge and has so many nice exhibits. Things have changed there since I was young, but it is even better. Their elephant exhibit is great. There is also a small petting zoo (in the summer months) and parking is pretty easy to find. They sometimes have a buy one, get one free admission coupon on their website. Don't miss this place!

Best zoo I've ever been to. I've been to almost every zoo from Vancouver to San Diego and this is number one on my list. Great location, tons of animals, naturalistic enviornments. One of the best family attractions in the Seattle area!

PROS: Large zoo, tons of exotic animals, family fun
CONS: Limited parking

We've spent here half a day and only saw about a quarter of the zoo. The zoo is very large wih many animals and animal habitats in different parts of it. Some of the habitats are pretty ordinary, other ones are really interesting. The orangutan habitat was very neat. I was a huge indoor and outdoor area with trees, bushes, hammocks, etc. There is a bridge over the open area, so you can stand on the bridge and look at the habitat on both sides of you and under you. It creates an impression of you being in a jungle. Very cool.

They also had two baby tigers that were playing with their mother in an open area. That was very cool to see. Normally you see lions and tigers sleeping and doing nothing else.

They also had a couple of weird looking bears that were play-wrestling for good 10-15 minutes. That was also pretty neat.

We got to the elephant habitat too late, but it looked like it is also worth seeing.

They had peacocks running around on the grounds, which was neat as well. Except for the parents letting their children chase them and pull out their tail feathers. Pretty unbelievable what parents let children do these days.

You have to pay for the parking (I think something like $3), but we used free street parking nearby.

Overall, it was an enjoyable experience for us.

PROS: Lots of interesting animals and animal habitats
CONS: Too big to see in one day
