This is the most widely known and well maintained hospital in the city. I know everytime someone I know has to come to this hospital for whatever reason, that they will receive the best care possible. The staff is very friendly as well as the doctors. Building is very spacey and big.

The labor and delivery nurses here are amazing--so caring and concerned with the health and safety of their patients even though they are so busy. The NICU is the best in town and this is the only Level 1 trauma center in town, so if you are a high risk pregnancy this is the place to go, no question.
Labor rooms are really nice as well.

I have delivered 3 children at TMC and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Their nurses are the sweetest, their facilities are the nicest, and I could go on and on about how awesome the maternity ward is! The rooms are remodelled and look more like hotel rooms, not at all like hospitals. I had to stay a few extra nights my first time and didn't mind at all because of how nice it was. If you're having a high risk pregnancy or multiple babies (I had twins), the neonatal intensive care unit is amazing. The nurses will take excellent care of your baby or babies so that you don't have to worry quite so much. I will never choose another hospital over this one!!

I or my family members have been to TMC for almost everything over the last 50 years. Although nothing is perfect, TMC offers a level of care that it's the only place I would consider going to unless forced otherwise. When I had my second child I was in the hospital for 3 months - if that's not long enough to find a problem, I don't know what is! My mom has spent several months at TMC over the last couple of years, from ER to surgery, and her patient care has been excellent. The staff is very kind and caring, down to the last one, even including housekeeping!
PROS: excellent staff
CONS: a little grubby around some of it's edges - it's been around a while
