Reviews for Geisha House

Ratings_icons Interesting take on 'traditional' sushi

Amanda C. | insider Insider | Rank: 19,513

Aside from the fantastic 'aura' of the place (blood red building on Hollywood Blvd), it has very great sushi. Their spins on traditional takes makes for a refreshing experience. Great for a gals night out. The main dining area is open air, so bring a sweater.

Great place!

Ratings_icons NICE place

Molly A. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,074

This place is really REALLY nice, the environment is authentic Japanese setting. They have women dressed in the Geisha outfits and the walls are embedded with fabric prints of Japanese art. The vegetable tempura is okay. This place is quite a pricey restuarant.

Definitely a hollywood crowd here. Very unique and interesting menu. Great drinks. You should plan to make reservations. Nice japanese decor and located right in the middle of hollywood.

Ratings_icons Swanky Hollywood Sushi

Gus H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,092

Was treated to a dinner here by a client and was impressed by the location and their menu. Their drinks can be expensive and the you have the usual hollywood crowd there late nights but the sushi is pretty good and not too expensive considering the swankiness of this restraurant. Good place to take some out-of-town friends or have a couple drinks while watching kunf fu in hollywood.

PROS: Decor, Menu
CONS: Pay for parking, expensive bar
