Unlike the 1*star reviewer here, I have had many years of terrific service, both watches and gold items and repairs. Always fair, fast and friendly. It is simply not in the owners nature to be dishonest or rude to anyone, I just do not believe it. I have shopped at Canton Jewelry since they were located on Riverstone Pkwy. I have found them to be trustworthy, beyond compare!

They have a great selection of engagement rings. You do not have to drive all the way down to Atlanta to get engagement rings and their prices are unbeatable. I got an engagement ring at Canton Jewelry for my fiancee. It was going to be a surprise for her and i was not sure if she was going to like it or not. As soon as she opened the jewelry box, she was so happy with the jewelry design and diamond settings. Once again thank you Canton Jewelry

I brought my $2500 watch in for a battery replacement. I had owned the watch for roughly four years, never having any trouble at all. Two days after the owner replaced the battery, I noticed that the watch face and components were all

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CANTON JEWELRY. My husband took my Baume & Mercier / Tiffany & Co. watch to Canton Jewelry to have the battery replaced in December 2010 - simple repair, right? What could go wrong?? I'd had the watch for several years without any troubles - never taking it off for showers, swimming or doing dishes since it was waterproof. After the batter was replaced, I put the watch back on and resumed my normal activities. Two days later my watch face was completely rusted from water damage! I took the watch off and noticed that the jerk at Canton Jewelry had put the back piece on upside down and water had seeped into the watch. The movement, crown, crystal, dial, and hands were all rusted and will need to be replaced. I went back to Canton Jewelry and the jerk never said sorry, he took the back plate off and dropped it on the floor, then put it back on correctly and said, "well, sometimes these things happen, but I can fix it for you at my cost." I walked out of the store, and I will have the watch repaired properly by the manufacturer - even though it will cost me $880. PLEASE DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Below is a copy of the email I just received from Tiffany & Co. regarding my repairs:

I did not like this jeweler. My fiance and I went to this jeweler looking for my engagement ring. They had a decent selection of other jewelry, but not a lot in engagement rings. Also, the owner pretty much would only talk to my fiance and ignored pretty much everything I said. Needless to say I was very offended. I will never go back.

I have only been to Canton Jewelry one time, and I was very impressed with the knowledge and professsionalism of the jeweler. All of my questions were answered, and I feel I was given good information - not just any answer to my question.

I took my watch in to have the battery replaced. I went to pick it up the next day and the owner told me the battery he put in was bad and the watch didn't work so he had me come back the next day after he put in another battery. I went back the next day to pick up the watch. Later that day, one of the arms on the watch fell off and the the watch stopped working completely. I took it back to the jewelry store and told him what happened. I told him that the watch had worked fine before I brought it in and when I get it back, an arm falls off and the watch doesn't even keep time anymore. Then he says "we'll have to send it off somewhere to be repaired, we can't do it here." There was no "I'm sorry, we'll take care of that for you" or "I'm sorry for the inconvenience and we'll have it repaired for you." I told him it worked fine before I brought it to him and I certainly didn't break the watch while he had it and he has the nerve to reply "neither did I." To me it was simple: watch working but needs new battery, take to store to get new battery; pick up watch after battery replaced and the arm falls off and watch stops working completely = store broke watch and is responsible to repair. It was obvious he was more interested in alleviating himself of any responsibility than he was of finding a way to satisfy him customer, so I just grabbed the watch and walked out. Customer service at its worst. I recommend you choose one of the many other jewelry stores in the area for you needs.
