I have been going to Lauren for about two years and every time I go I leave thrilled about my hair! I love the whole experience, the atmosphere of Salon D mixed with Lauren's warmth and experience, makes for quite the experience it itself. She is an incredible stylist who listens to what you want and gives it to you! She is invested in her clients and has a wealth of ideas, style, creativity and class, and is all about sharing it! She loves what she does and it shows, she truly cares about her clients and what they want, you will be SO glad you chose to be her client!!

Lauren Gonzalez is amazing! Her personality mixed with her expertise makes her one of a kind. She knows hair and fashion and how to make the 2 collide into 1 with her style. I've been to many stylists who let you sit in the chair in awkward silence while they work but Lauren isn't one of those. She has a genuine interest in her clients and is great at conversing! There are also those stylists who ask you what you want done and if you don't know they'll hand you a magazine to look at. Lauren is very open to and loves giving ideas - and she can be trusted with her style and ideas! I highly recommend Lauren to everyone I come in contact with as I will you - Lauren is amazing and I love her work!

I went to Salon D for almost 2 years. Rachel Andonian did my hair. She always did an amazing job especially with color. She makes sure that your hair looks the way you want it to look. She also puts in more foils then most stylist do and doesn't charge extra. I could pick up some satellite radio with the amount she puts in :0) I now live in Delaware and I am making a special trip back to TX in October to see family, but also to get my hair done. Once you go to her you will never find anyone as good. She is simply fabulous! She also did my hair and makeup for my bridals and they were simply beautiful! I got so many compliments on how great my hair and makeup looked (this was raw copies of the pictures, no touch ups). I would strongly recommend Rachel to anyone that wants someone that actually takes pride in what she does.

If you want a quality stylist go to Salon D in Dallas and ask for Rachel. I promise you won't regret it.

Lauren Gonzalez is absolutely amazing! I have lived in Dallas for several years and could never find a great stylist. About 4 years ago I found Lauren and haven't been to anyone else since! She is so talented. You can go to her with specific instructions if you are picky about your style and color or you can ask her for suggestions - she always knows exactly what will work for each individual! I send everyone I know to Lauren and I guarantee you will too!

I had rather damaged hair from coloring when I first went to Rachel Andonian at Salon D. Not only is she personable to talk to while she is cutting, coloring and styling your hair, (a big plus in my opinion) she is also amazing at what she does. She has brought back the shine to my hair that I had thought was lost forever! Her cuts are amazing and grow out nicely too. I am in the process of trying to get my hair to a certain length, so this is very important to me. I highly reccommend Rachel Andonian!

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO SALON D FOR OVER 10 YEARS - I DRIVE 1 1/2 HOURS TO GET THERE BECAUSE THE CALIBER OF STYLIST, COLORISTS AND EMPLOYEES IS HIGHER THAN THE MULTITUDE OF SALONS I PASS TO GET THERE.

RACHEL & ARDEM ARE INCREDIBLE AS ARE ALL OF THE OTHER HAIR & NAIL SPECIALISTS THAT HAVE STATIONS IN THEIR SALON.

MY MOTHER ADORES THIS PLACE AND COMES WITH ME EVERYTIME I DRIVE TO DALLAS TO GET OUR HAIR DONE.

I moved to Dallas in 2006 and was in major need of a new hair stylist! I had incredibly damaged hair from poor highlights and bleach. Tacie Gerigk was my stylist and did WONDERS on my incredibly broken, neglected and dry hair. She was able to repair my damaged hair and still give me the color I wanted and loved! Now, after 4 years...she is still as great as ever and always gives good advice and suggestions on new colors and cuts. She also teaches me trendy styling tricks and tactics that allow me to style my hair to its full potential!
In addition, Salon D is a great salon that is always clean, professional, and friendly every time you walk in!
If you need a great cut or color- GO SEE TACIE!!

My stylist was Ardem K., salon owner. Not only is he a talented stylist with an artistic eye, he is also funny and quite charming.

When I left the salon I loved my hair and felt great.

THE TRUE TEST: What does it look like after I wash it and have to DO IT MYSELF. (yikes) No problem, Ardem made sure I know how to style my new do before I left. Ta da . . . I did it and still got compliments! A great cut really does "style itself"

I didn't know how BAD my hair was until I saw how good it could look. Thanks Ardem and Salon D

P.S. I might go back just for a shampoo. The girls took their time and included a mini-scalp and neck massage. ahhhhh.

When I moved to Dallas about 7 years ago I was in need of a good hair stylist. For those who know me I am very picky when it comes to my hair. I was recommend by a co-worker to check out Salon D where she introduced me Tacie Gerigk. Little did I know how damaged my hair was the first time Tacie cut and colored my hair. Now after years of going to her my hair has never looked and felt so much better. Everywhere I go I get compliments on my hair. My hair use to feel and look like straw but now it is healthy and I have never been happier with the way it looks today.

Thanks to Mr. Dangerous, I once again love my hair. He takes the time to really listen and asks the right questions that lead to a great haircut. Salon D is very clean and well staffed. If you're looking for a great salon, try Salon D. If you're looking for a great hair style, try Brian D.

Brian Dangerous is a great stylist. I have very thick, curly hair and won't trust my hair to just anyone, but Brian always gives a great cut and also understands the science of color. Give him a try, I recommend him highly

I've had my hair cut and colored by Matthew for almost 10 years now. when i moved out of the area i figured i can find someone as good as him closer to where i live. after searching for almost 3 years (what was i thinking??) i went back to Matthew. he is just the best and i love my hair each and every time! aside from the fact that he's such a great hair stylist, he's also sweet and has a great sense of humor :)..best experiance all around! i can't see myself ever going to someone else. why mess with perfection??:))

When I first moved here from Seattle ten years ago, I was beside myself trying to find a place that could actually cut hair instead of butchering it. It took me about eight months before a friend recommended Salon D, mainly David Ackmann. He has been doing my hair for ten years now and I always get a perfect cut!

I asked my eyelash goddess Stephanie for a referral to someone in Salon D to straighten my hair. She sent me to David Ackmann. In about 31/2 hours my hair was soft, shimmery and STRAIGHT. I love it, it takes me no time to get ready in the morning. I love this place and will go back for everything I need done forever!

I looked on www.eyelashesbystephaniecom and made an appointment at Salon D with Stephanie Frey. My eyelashes looked so natural and lasted four weeks. I went on my honeymoon and swam in saltwater etc.... The front desk was wonderful and I had lot's of late night time slots to fit my needs. I am a fan forever!!!

I was looking for something to fix my frizz and found Salon D. I called them and was refered to David. He took about 31/2 hrs to get it straight. i love my HAIR!!!!

At Salon D, i received one of the best haircuts I've ever had by stylist Lauren Gonzalez. She spent time on giving me a great cut. It was evident by her cutting that she had been through extensive training. She gave me a full fade with simply her scissors and comb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so impressed I sent my wife, Jennifer, to Lauren that next week for cut and color. My wife came home looking the most beautiful I had ever seen her. She was so happy with her experience with Lauren. Thank you for such great service!

I went to Salon D, panicked over my previous experience at another salon. I went in, hoping someone would be able to give me simply the haircut and color I was looking for. I walked into Salon D and was greeted by an incredibly kind front desk staff who understood what customer service meant. They assured me they had a stylist who would do a great job on my hair. I was greeted by Lauren Gonzalez, who was so warm and welcoming. I explained to her what I was wanting to do with my hair. She explained to me her vision for my hair, while also incorporating everything that I had mentioned as well. Within a couple of hours, I walked out of Salon D, with hair like I had never had before. I'm so grateful for my incredible experience at Salon D, and will forever be a client of Lauren's!

David A. was recommended by the receptionist for hair straightening. My hair had been previously straightened and the roots needed to be touched. I spoke with David who assured me that he had 8 years experience and could do the job even without meeting me. My mistake was taking his word for it and booking an appt. He applied a different formula, without asking what had been applied before, left the Matrix solution on too long which resulted in extremely dry, brittle and broken hair!

I have been to Salon D a few times now and everytime I am even more impressed. The front desk receptionist's make it a point to try and get to know the clients. They sat me up with one of their Stylist, Whitney Dobbs. I knew when I went in that I wanted something different but I didnt know what. She was very knowledgeable about what would look good on me and she listened very well to my likes and dislikes! I absolutely loved my hair and have been going back to her since then! I highly recommend Whitney and Salon D to everyone!
