A good school
by Krystal C.
A good school with good staff. The facilities are very nice, the classrooms are well equipped. The children seem to be very well behaved in the classrooms.

Montessori Children's House is an Excellent School
by Danielle F.
I would absolutely highly recommend this school to any family. The moment you enter through the front door you and your children will be welcomed by wonderful people that will greet you with smiles. I am most impressed with the school's owner/director Miss Effie. Her passion for teaching and her love for children is evident from the moment you meet her. She makes it a priority to get to know every child and their family. She is continuously adding to the curriculum to ensure the newest and most innovative learning opportunities for the children. As a parent, I have been so pleased to know that my 5 year old twins are in the are in the best possible environment. They love to go to school everyday and they don't want to leave at the end of the day! I have been so impressed with their progress during the time they have been attending MCH. As a staff member, I have had the opportunity to witness the education that my children are receiving first hand, and I could not be more pleased. Miss Effie provides further education opportunities for her highly qualified teachers on a monthly basis. This ensures that they have the tools necessary to deliver the best possible instruction to the children. Most importantly, we are not considered or treated as "staff members", quite the contrary. We are treated like family. Miss Effie's philosophy about the program at MCH is not just about learning to read, write and count. Her program is designed to develop a child socially, physically, and emotionally. I have worked with the elementary students throughout the summer camp. The students ranged from kindergarten through third grade. The thing that has impressed me the most was the children that have attended MCH since they were toddlers. I witnessed how well mannered and how extremely bright they were, well above their grade level! A final note to mention is the extracurricular activities that are offered at the school. I have enjoyed my children having the opportunity to participate in Kung Fu classes, chess classes, dance classes, piano lessons and much more. I recommend any family to take a tour of the facility and see for themselves!

Unfriendly atmosphere

My child attended the school for a year. I kept going only because the teacher was good. The director is very rude and uncaring. When I went to see the school again for my second child, there was a new admissions director who seemed to be even more rude and ridiculous than the director. She said that a 3 year old needs to know how to interact with other kids and maintain his distance. She wanted to test my child before enrolling him. This was indeed a boon as I decided that was not a place for my child to grow. If you are desperate, this would be the place!

This is a good school with nice facility and caring teachers. There are other alternatives around this area but ttheir tuitions are much more expensive than this one.
