I was there too when the crazy lady from below came in. She was yapping about how her nails fail off. And when the nails people ask her how it fell off she said she took it off. How ridiculous that is, she took her nails off and demand her money back. i have been to this place many times and they were the nicest people that I have known. This nails place is the best ever so don't listen to that crazy lady below.??

Acrylic Nails FELL OFF on the second day! TWICE!

I went to B&J nails because the other nail salon I went to was too busy. B&J is a lot smaller and quieter. On my first visit (A Tuesday afternoon) the husband/owner did my nails. I asked for a full acrylic set. He was very nice and did a great job. I paid $31 ($25 plus tip) and left. On Wednesday afternoon the nails started to come up around the edges and peel off. I was frustrated but I thought it might just be a fluke or something, and I went back on Thursday afternoon. Again the same man fixed them. He took almost all of them off and redid the entire set and was very apologetic. I was very satisfied because he had fixed them "above & beyond" by even taking off nails that were okay.
On Friday morning, two nails had already fallen off. By Friday at 2PM, they were ALL GONE. Some were hanging by the glue at the base of the nail, so i just had to "pop" them off. The acrylic had not bonded at all.
I've had acrylic nails many times, and this had never happened before! I went back on Friday afternoon and I told him what had happened (again). I asked for my money back and they refused. They offered to fix them for me but my nails had already been sanded with the drill twice in 3 days and could not stand another sanding because they were so thin. They refused to refund my money and accused me of biting my nails or having oily skin.
The argument went on for 10 minutes or so because I just couldn't believe they wouldn't give me back my $30. When I told them my nails could NOT be "fixed" because they coul dnot be sanded a 3rd itme, they said I could come in next week. I asked for something in writing to that effect and they refused and their son yelled at me and told me to "believe them".

I wanted to give a smaller salon a chance because it is so much quieter and less busy, but after this experience I will never go back there. There are other salons in Waco that won't wreck your nails.

Cons: Terrible service, no refunds because that is "their policy",
