Overlooking gorgeous Rainbow Harbor, the Mai Tai Bar at The Pike is Long Beach's hottest live music venue. Come to relax in our open air patio overlooking the water and groove to the best in contemporary island music by Long Beach's hippest bands. Sip a cool mai tai and watch the sunset on the harbor as live music heats up the night.

A nice island ambiance with great and inexpensive drinks. The place however tends to get crowded and is hard to find seating at times. The food here is alright, and they have bands that play here. One night when I went, the band was pretty horrible. The crowd tends to have several asians and thats probably because V20 is right down the stairs.

this is a fun place- right on the water and right above a night club. Great drinks, but can get a bit expensive. They have great music on some nights, but you often have to pay to sit down. overall, fun place to visit.

The Mai Tai Bar is an island theme bar. Very chill and diverse. The night I went, there was a live reggae band that performed on a small stage inside the bar. The outside patio was very dreamy. Its not a big bar and it gets really crowded at times but you'll definitely have a good time.

The Mai tai bar has all types of drinks including wine, beer and mixed drinks. The outside patio/lounge area is really cool. Romantic lighting, really nice atmosphere, up above the crowd so it feels special. Good date spot. Very clean and has friendly, quick service.

Best Happy Hour in Long Beach!
by Johanna Marie
I've been coming to Mai Tai Bar for after work cocktails for awhile now. My favorite time to visit is their 4-7pm Happy Hour as the sun is setting and my day is unwinding. The drinks are excellent and the appetizers are so unique and tasty! I love the Friday entertainment with Tini who plays all the good hits and sets the mood for the weekend! Cheers to Mai Tai Bar in Long Beach! Well done!
Pros: Best Happy Hour, Fantastic Service, Relaxed atmosphere

Best Live Entertainment and Tasty Drinks!
by I Love Long Beach
Their entertainment is always so refreshing and relaxing! There aren't too many loungy places to go with friends and listen to live bands, soloists and duos. Their happy hour prices are the best I've seen and it's every day of the week! I've reserved one of their VIP sections on the weekend and that is definitely some good times!
Pros: Best live entertainment and amazing drinks

Too crowded
by thatguy6
The place was too crowded and there was no place to sit down and enjoy the food, they were extremely expensive. The live band was crowded into a small closet. The atmosphere was great but too crowded. Ad the bouncer were really mean.
Pros: Atmosphere, live music
Cons: Too crowded, too expensive, no place to sit

I'll Never go here again!
by the_black_widow
I refuse to ever patronize this establishment again. This place is trying to be "upscale" but it's just plain lame!!! 'm a girl, and I went on a Friday night and they wouldn't let me in wearing my hat...yet it was fine for countless "gangsta" wannabes to be in there with shorts hanging down below their thighs, wife beaters and flip flops...not to mention that the security guard himself was wearing a hat, as well as some other guy in a booth - when i asked what the deal was, the security guard said that the guy was "with the band" and that security can wear whatever they want. They also spent the evening following me around telling me to take my hat off whenever i would put it back on once they weren't looking...if you want to be upscale Mai Tai then don't be hypocrites and make sure the rules apply to EVERYONE not just whoever you're in the mood to enforce against...and just because you don't let people wear hats doesn't make you cool and upscale...this place is lame

by dreamstar2124
They have amazing drinks. i only been there twice and i had fun. not much of a line but it does get crowded inside so its hard to walk around. its a great place to hang out with friends and just relax and look out at the ocean.
Pros: amazing drinks, great people
Cons: too crowded, hard to walk around, needs more cocktail waitresses

Not Mai Kind of Tai Bar.
by skateboardt
Doo-doo music, overcrowded, can't walk space, and high school party type of environment. $5?! Fuggetaboutit!
Pros: They have alchohol, duh.
Cons: Everything else.
