Yes, $30 for a mani pedi is cheap... but you get a rushed "get them in, get them out" type service. I don't think I saw any of the employees smile while I was there and the manicure is a JOKE. The "massage" I received boiled down to

I go to this place now because it is close to my new place. So location is convenient for me and the price for a mani and pedi is right . They charge $30 for both which I find very reasonable.

The TERRIBLE thing about this place is how bad their staff makes you feel... from the moment you walk in they all start staring at you and talking in Vietnamese , it is clear that they are just gossiping..... and even if they are not, that's the impression they give.... Ladies: What you do is very disrespectful and you make your clients feel very uncomfortable ...

The owners of these nail places should establish a rule of speaking only english in front of the client , and don't come telling me they don't speak english, because THEY DO , they clearly know how to say , You wanna pay me first ?, want to do eyebrows?, want manicure ? so they sure know how to communicate .

Then you seat on the chair and have to cope with their long faces , like if they are doing you a favor ..... I agree with the review that says they barely push your cuticle... they just soak your hands in a tiny bit of water , put some cream on the cuticles and then pretend to push the cuticle in a matter of 15 seconds... Really ? Is that it ? Then you ask them to please file your nail staright because it was a bit to the side , and they give the accentuated look .... Oh excuse me for daring to ask .... C'mon ladies , you sure need some customer service lessons... specialy considering the area where your salon is located ... these are high expectation , high demand clients that if you treat them well they will give you the sky , but if not , that's when you get NO tip and these type of reviews....

******Then I ask for my nails to be polished in a certain way and you are told , that it doesn't look good like that .... Hello, I am not stupid ,if I am asking you to do it like that is because I like it like that .... Otherwise , I wouldn't ask you... you asked me to pick my colors and that is what I did ... I didn't ask for your opinion....

*******I probably will still have to go to this place because it is conveniently located , but I hope this review makes them, or the owner, wake up and make some changes "pronto" .... CUSTUMER SERVICE Ladies .... you need lessons on that ..... leave the gossiping for your breaktime , when you are on your little corner . Appreciate your customers because thanks to them you have a salary ..... and please speak english or don't speak at all when you are giving service to people .

Thanks,

Pros: Price is reasonable

Cons: Unfriendly Staff, Rushed service, very unpolite.

I returned to my old nail salon today after two years in Asia, and I was inspired to write a review. After living in Asia, I know that Asians are not the smiley type, but the ladies here are downright glum and unfriendly. Additionally, the service is quite rushed. I have noticed before that they barely take the time to push your cuticles back--in fact, a lot of the ladies barely brush the tool over the cuticle and then they are done! I lived in a fairly expensive Asian city, and the "cheapie" mani/pedi, which is what I consider this to be, is $60 (no tip expected). Here, it's $30, with a tip almost obligatory. But, the mani/pedi in Asia took an hour, versus 40 minutes here--is it really a bargain? And I agree with other reviewers that the manicures don't last. I would consider the service they offer here as more of an "express" mani/pedi, so go here if you are in a hurry, but I certainly don't think it's the best out there and I will probably try to look for something else.

Pros: comfy chairs, neck massage

Cons: service is rushed, staff is unfriendly

I get a mani/pedi about every 10 days. The girls are nice and friendly and give you lots of personal attention. The admosphere is sterile (in a good way) clean and efficient.. and it doesn't smell too much like a chemistry lab.

My mani's and pedi's have always lasted a long time, and the free massage at the end is an added plus; and the price is right!!!

Reasonably priced. They give great massages with every manicure and pedicure. However, every time I get a French manicure done, my clear nail polish starts cracking and chipping within one day! Go here if you care about the free massage...but not if you care about your manicure.
