My husband and I love eating at Dos Coyotes, it's our default location if we want to eat out but can't decide where to eat. As UC Davis graduates, we fell in love with the good food at the Davis Dos Coyotes and we were thrilled Dos was opening near our home. The service at this location is just a smidge slower than the Davis locations, but the food is all fresh, made to order, and delicious! Just place your order at the cashier, find a seat, and your food will be out in about 5 minutes (at the Davis locations, 50% of the time your food is ready by the time you've found your seat)! They have great burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and huge nachos and salads. The salsa bar has great variety, but it's never spicy enough so I always spike my salsa with a spoonful of the chopped jalapenos. The portion sizes are good for the prices, and they make good left overs too! I like that they support local farmers by using locally grown produce in their food. Their regular menu is consistently good, but I love, love, love their seasonal specials. Sometimes a special doesn't come back next year, so enjoy it while you can! (I miss the tsunami tacos, and this year's favorite hands down is the Durango Mango Mahi Salad)
