The store receives donations every day so you can shop all the time and find great deals. I really like the idea that it supports The Samaritan Inn homeless shelter --it's such a wonderful organization.
They also have a 2nd store --Thrift store 2 which is just down the street and has clothing and kid stuff. Clean, organized and a great staff.

Just down the street at 1330 N McDonald (on the corner of University). They have moved all the clothing, baby stuff like strollers etc, books, jewelry, shoes and handbags to this new location. Lots of stuff, Lots of room.

I always try to stop by this store since it directly supports the Samaritan Inn. Many children in our outpost and girls club live at the Inn and I make it a point to shop here. They have very nice clothes and toys - my kids love their beanie baby selection. They also have good books and videos. Their prices are somewhat higher, but the store is nicely organized and I love knowing that I'm supporting Collin County's only homeless shelter, Samaritan Inn, every time I buy something here. Please stop by and spend a few dollars, for the sake of the homeless!!!

Friends Of The Inn is my all time favorite thrift store. It's clean, well organized with unique and upscale items, therefore, no digging thru piles of junk. The prices are reasonable to begin with, but because of the tremendous amount of donations, they have frequent sales to keep the inventory flowing. I've recently seen all clothes on sale for $1. I bought a $700 leather recliner, in perfect shape, for $100. The very best thing, all proceeds go to support McKinney's Samaritan Inn, the only homeless shelter in Collin County. Not only can you save a bundle, you can help a great cause!

This is a great thrift shop but it seems whoever runs it forgot the name of the store...Thrift???....Great inventory but new prices...Very pricey...and its sad...They would make soooo much more if the prices were reasonable. I have heard so many people say they just walk out because of the prices. They are charging for new things. SAD!!!
