I have had the pleasure of eating at Red Hot & Blue on several occasions. I'm not a big fan of ribs, but I love their bbq pork. Their regular sauce is a bit too sweet for my tastes, but this place is always crowded and the staff & service are FANTASTIC!

When we crave for really good BBQ ribs, here is where we go. They have other dishes, too, (like chicken, catfish, and burger) but it does not make sense to me not to order the ribs. Their ribs are slow-cooked to perfection, and the consistency is fairly high. I think I was only slightly disappointed at the quality once, ever. There are three kinds: Dry Ribs, Wet Ribs, and Sweet Ribs. My favorite is Sweet Ribs, although my friend has always tried to make me order the Dry Ribs. I have a prejudice about the name - I mean, who would want "dry" ribs? But according to my friend, they are really juicy and tender, and just look dry on the outside. As for drinks, they have authentic Sweet Tea. But I highly recommend that you arrive early and avoid peak dining hours. They have a small regular parking lot and an awkward expanded parking lot. If the lots are full, there is really no where else that you can find convenient parking. Also when you see their signs, drive slowly. If you have never been there before, you can miss their entrance very easily. If you miss the entrance, you will have to drive a huge circle back because there are a few one-way roads around. I almost forgot about pricing. The ribs are a little bit on the pricy side, but they are not really too expensive. I usually order a full slab for approximately $22, and have enough leftovers for another meal.

PROS: Absolutely great BBQ ribs.
CONS: Small parking lot. Ambiguous entrance.
