When you first talk to Wayne he seems a little talkative but okay....and that??s the first encounter. When you decide to use his service everything seems like a problem.

He first lets you measure the glass (which was his job) then comes over to make sure its correct(Huh?) He then wants a third as a deposit but wants you to mail it, or he would pick it up(which was okay) When the glass we ordered came in thats when it all began. I don??t live on the premises where the glass was being installed so he wanted me to leave the check inside-which I explained was unsafe so, I could leave it in the apartment complex office where he could pick it up. He had a problem with that saying he might go there and nobody would be there. I told him the office always has someone there. He then went on to say well if he arrived and nobody was there he would charge me $75 and reschedule which I thought was not fair. So, I explained that if he went there at approximately 9:00am there should be someone there but he kept on pushing for 8:30am. I explained that the office opened at 8:30am and the office manager could be late 10mins and then he would charge me for that. He insisted he got the money before he started the job because nobody lived at that address. So I asked him if he wanted to verify the check was there he could call the office which he said was my job(huh?) I told him I didn??t want to go back and forth with him (no point-(there is always someone at the office-I lived in that complex for 12 years) But he kept on saying well what if ...so I then said "you know what let me give it to you before the actual install date so that we wouldn't have to go through this" even then he kept going on and on why I should bring it on the actual day....that didn't make any sense...(I even offered to take it to the work address 2 days before (which for whatever reason he wasn't too pleased with(fishy)). So, I finally let my tenant deal with him because it was their responsibility anyway(they had shattered the glass) So, the tenant decided to get the check from me the day before and then go to the premises and wait for the job to be done before handing the check over. The tenant called me and said it was done. Wayne then called me and said the check I had given him was a temporary check(I had ran out so had been given temporary checks by the bank) I explained to him that they would not have any problem cashing that check. Then he goes on to say his bank would not(and I asked why..gosh he said something to the sound of bla bla bla bla....anyway I asked him to cash it and if he had problems then bank should call me-He did, saying they wouldn't cash it and so I called the bank and they said he didn??t have an id for his "Window Works" (I had issued the check to his company). So, I left work went to the bank gave him another check and this time I didn't write a name so he could fill it out. He said he couldn't fill his name in because it wasn't his business name, and something about he can't cash it in his name. Anyway, he was at this time (and previously) really getting on my last nerve...all I wanted to do was to get this man out of my peaceful life for good. There was something fishy about the company...There isn't a company! Please know what you are getting into. And if you asked me what was the advantage -The glass door is installed!-(thats what the star is for). I consider myself quite polite, but honestly I found myself losing my patience and my voice getting higher and higher.
