Sales department worked with me before and after my visit to the Auto Show in Toledo Oh. Once I met with the sales person, he knew exactly the SUV to suggest. The GMC Terrain SLE was a perfect fit for my needs complete with a 6 cylinder engine.to provide towing power. The support staff for final preparation of the vehicle and the necessary paper work were very good making my visit pleasant. I expect to experience a long relationship with this dealer and would not hesitate to recommend them to other prospective buyers.

Terrible service when needed the most! I was recently in a wreck and I needed body repair taken care of. I had just got off the phone with the insurance company to have the dealer start work on my SUV the following day and no less than 2 min after, I get a call from the dealer telling me that their manager "doesn't feel comfortable fixing my vehicle". I was shocked, I immediately asked them, "Then how did you give me a quote to fix my truck, but you won't even touch it to fix it?" It's simple logic, if your too afraid to even fix my vehicle, then how are you even qualified to even give me a quote? They're not even qualified to give a simple estimate for the insurance company if they don't feel like fixing anything thats been in a wreck. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back to Ed Schmidt! I will never go back for anything, I will not recommend their services to anyone, nor their quality for customer service. I know a lot of people in this town and they have definitely lost a lifetime customer! How unprofessional is it to just leave someone hanging after they've been in a wreck, and not even tell them first before giving them the run-around? Why string someone along all this time? I will make it a point from now on to seek other service shops for anything I have done to my truck, from simple maintenance all the way to body repair. In the end theres good news, I have found a local business that is working on my truck, and ironically they get a lot of business thats turned down from Ed Schmidt. I hope people will hear my warning, Ed Schmidt is nothing but a bunch of lazy stuffed shirts. GM will hear about this soon, since they always ask me how my "experience was" from that dealer.

i went to ed schmidt to look at the new gmc acadia. while i was looking a salesman came out to see if he could help me and i told him i was just looking. i was interested in the acadia so i asked him if he had a brochure on it. He told me that no they dont have them, we have the product but not the brochure,we wont get them in for a few weeks. i went there two days later to get service on my car and found out he lied to me, they did have the brochure. he also lied to my husband about the stock on a sierra pick up. i have bought both of my vehicles from them and will not buy anything from this salesman again. his name was randy. if he lies about brochures and stock he has then what else is he lieing about...
