I live in Burlington County and am jelous of the facilities at Mercer County Park. They have a boat ramp and the trails are just perfect for walking your dog or on nice crisp fall or spring days. When I was in High School we played our home tennis matches there and they were some of the nicest around. I wish Burlington would jump on the bandwagon. They only thing that keeps them from being 5-star is the duck poo from the Canada geese! But they clean it up pretty often.

You can walk the trails, use the paddle boats, use the marina, have a picnic, play tennis, cater an event (they have wedding often), play on the jungle gyms, ice skate, attend a concert, play softball, fish...that's all I can think of.

It is a large park with a big lake in the middle of it where birds are year round. The trail runs adjacent to it and then into the woods. We like to drive through the park at dusk to look at the deer that come out of the woods.

Cons- The restrooms leave a lot to be desired and the park gets super busy on weekends in the summer.
