This place is a joke. We were Dave promised a call back ASAP.interested in a coach that we located on their website. My father called and was put in contact with a salesman named Dave. For several days (more than a week) my father tried to get in contact with him. Left a ton of voicemails that were rarely responded to. Finally Dave and my father connected and were in the process of trying to Work out a deal. Not once did Dave ask for a deposit on the coach. Yesterday afternoon Dave and my father talked and Dave was "Supposed" to be speaking to the seller (the coach was on consignment) as well as speak to his manager to finish the deal. Dave promised a call back ASAP. Meanwhile my father got on the website to show me the coach and it was gone! I tried to any Dave and of course got his voicemail (imagine that!). I called back andasked to speak with someone else. I got Jason who was as arrogant as they come, who told me the coach was sold At 11:30 that morning! So in essence, the Coach was sold right out from under us! The dude had the nerve to ask why we didn't put a deposit down? The answer is simple! We weren't asked to put a deposit down. That is the job of the salesman! So then I asked to speak to a manager. Imagine my surprise that one wasn't available. Jason didn't offer a call back from a manager, but of course promised a call back from Dave. WE DON'T WANT TO TALK TO DAVE! His lack of communication IS what caused this Coach to be Sold out from under us. Of Course you Can imagine that we still Have NOT received a call from any manager.
Oh and don't use their "live chat" feature. you aren't chatting with a live person like they advertise. It is a computer generated response. The service (or lack thereof) is terrible and obviously they do not care about finishing a deal with Someone. Very Disappointed. I would advise to steer clear of this place!

We purchased 2 motor homes from Grumbines over the past 4 years. We have found the sales staff to professional and supportive. In March we traded our Newmar gas unit for a newer diesel pusher. After a few bugs were eliminated everything

Its unfortunate that Grumbine's rv ctr sales manager provided such poor customer service from the day I purchased my 2004 motor home.
The day I came to drive it off the lot, it began to rain heavily resulting water coming into the cabin. The first remark the sales manager said to me was,"You're lucky it rained before you pulled it off the lot because otherwise it would've been your problem". I was flabbergasted and at the same time extremely annoyed that it almost sounded as though he took pride in saying that to me. Need I say more.

Business Response:

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have since updated our listing on this site to include the correct hours of operation.

Despite the horrible reviews on here, we decided to look at an RV at Grumbines anyway since it was the only nearby dealer with Starcraft. And I'm glad we did! We had a very good experience with our sale (as good as can be when you're trying to save money and the sales company is trying to make money) and got more than expected for our trade. I would purchase another RV from Grumbines and have already referred my family and friends! I suggest if you're hesitant to buy from here, ask for Rick. He was a great salesperson.

We did our research and knew what we wanted. Grumbine's were the only dealer to have it within 100 miles. Despite the warnings both online and from a friend we purchased there anyway. The sale was easy and quick. Service department helped out with a problem we had although for a hefty fee. I can't really complain but wasn't thrilled either.

My wife and I have never been so happy with the camper that we bought at Grumbine's at the beginning of April. Im absolutely shocked at some of the reviews that I have read here. Our sales associate was Mike, and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He had us laughing half the time during our first visit to the dealership. After we decided to go through with the purchase, we called Mike to let him know, and he asked us "if we were sure this time?" When we went back the next day, to do our paperwork, we then sat down with Andy in Finance and Steve the Manager came over and introduced himself and congratulated us our purchase. When we were done with the paperwork, Mike gave a tour of the facility and introduced us to everyone that we would be seeing when we came to actually pick up the camper. There was Brian, Steve and Jeff in service, and more importantly, Ron. He was the one that familiarized us with new Starcraft when we came to finally pick it up. My wife Cindy and are very happy with Grumbines and will recommend them to everyone we talk to.

I wouldnt even give this company a star unless i had to!!! My husband and I just purchased our very first trailer at this facility. They were great while we were signing the papers, but after the sale, it's as if we didn't exist!! The A/C didn't work the first time we went into our 2012 NorthTrail after bringing it home. The company was contacted. My husband drove the unit back to Grumbine's, a 70 mile ride, and were expecting him just to unhitched and leave. After demanding to be seen, the problem was solved within 20 minutes. That's after I spoke with an employee who compared our $30,000 camper to a $30 blender!!!! I'm sorry, but I feel the two items are not in the same ballpark!!! I felt completely insulted, and no one seemed to care. I contacted the GM, who was equally not helpful and unconcerned. He said he would look into the situation and follow up with me in a few days after taking my contact info. My husband is the one received a call........a week and a half later!!!!! And the only reason, I feel, we even got a call was because we placed complaints with Camping World directly. This company has no interest in helping customers after the sale. We are extremely disappointed with the experience, and will not be returning to Grumbine's for ANYTHING!!!!!!

Do not buy from this dealer. 1st our experiance with the salesman was not all it should have been but we really loved the RV and no one else had one close by in stock so we bought it. During the walk through we pointed out a few scratchs that needed touch up and the carpet needed to be cleaned and we were told this would be done... NOT! When delivery date was set we informed them that the RV needed to be delivered with a 4wd because of the incline where it was being placed and this did not happen. We had to pay someone else to place our RV. They also did not bring our electrical cord the water hose to the toilet leaked. The very next day we found a massive leak coming in through the slid and we called immediately to have someone come fix it and they would not do roadside service and they told us to fine a dealer close by to repair and they would pay for it under the warrenty. When the closest dealer came out to examine the damage and contacted Grumbines with the repairs and cost they told them to go through the manufacture for payment. The manuf covered parts and labor but did not cover roadside assistance and that the dealer had to pay for that. Well they didnt, they actually were really rude to both us and the other dealer and told us never to call again. The other dealer (ROADHOUSE CAMPER & RV in HONESDALE PA) was great and did all of the work even though we didnt buy from them.I would buy from Roadhouse when it comes time to purchase again

Horrible Experience!
I unfortunately have to give a star, to leave a review.
We did not purchase our 36 foot class A, through Grumbines, however they were the closest for warranty work.
Our RV has been in their "care" for 3 months! Should not have taken this long, but parts are never in, and calls are never returned! To deal with them, you have to not only chase them down, but be willing to receive a nasty attitude from their new garage manager (not any better than the last).
As other reviewers have stated, my hopes are not high, that the problems are actually fixed. At this point I would just appreciate my vehicle back, and to find a much better place of business!

I recently purchased a Zinger trailer from Grumbine's RV and had one of the best experiences. My salesman was very patient with me and he never pushed me. I absolutely hate salesmen who push and pressure you for the sale vs trying to work with you to find exactly what you want and need. I had one small issue with my furnace and they were able to fix it right away before my trip. My experience has been nothing but pleasant and I feel i can call my salesman anytime if i need help (which i have twice already because i forgot some things after my orientation).

In dealing with Grumbines it seems they are primarily interested in your money. I provided a deposit to hold a motorhome but to hold the check contingent on financing. After consideration and inability to get the rate I wanted, I called the salesperson and requested they tear up my check and that I wanted to walk away from the deal. 6 days later they cashed my check! Now I have to argue with them to provide me a refund and hope that I don't incur any overages on the account. Not the best at returning phone calls either. Based on the reviews in this forum and the 20+ complaints at the BBB in the past 3 years do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Go to Leo's. Drive a little further but an A+ rating at the BBB and no complaints that I could find anywhere on the net. That's where I ended up.

Do not buy from this dealer. I bought a brand new $85,000 2008 Class C motorhome from these people and it took over 2 years to fix everything. They are sloppy, they don't fix things they say they will fix, they rarely return your phone calls even after they say they will. They forget to order parts and 50% of the time, they order the wrong part. The Service Department, the Parts Department and the Warranty Department have a problem communicating with each other. Many times I called them to find the status on the repairs and nobody knew, they had to "call me back". Most time I had to call them because they forgot me.

Dear Ben:

" My wife and I wanted to thank you and your co-workers for an excellent experience in our recent purchase of our 2010 Keystone Cougar back in October. Unlike many other RV Dealereships we have visited, we were not continuously hounded about purchasing a unit that very second, that very day. We were able to leave there unpressured and able to take time to consider our options. Their patience was greatly appreciated when it came to all of our questions. Your management team tried there hardest to give us the best deal possible. As you know, we were pleased enough, in that we referred one of our relatives enabling you to make another successful sale
"Down the road when our 2010 model is obsolete we will definately return to Grumbines to purchase an upgrade. Again, thank you for a great experience and we are sure that future customers will be just as pleased in dealing with Grumbines."
-Ryan F.

" I wanted to take minute to let your staff know what is a satisfying purchasing experience we had, when buying our windsport 32. Our salesperson, Ben Perkins, listened to us describe the type of RV that we had in mind to purchase, stated that he had a few motor homes that fir our description and proceeded to show them to us. Once we decided on an RV, the negotiations were done in a professional manner, without high pressure tactics. I have told a number of people about our positive purchasing experience."
-Don L.

"my husband and I had a great experience picking out our camper. Our salesman, Dave Zeiders was there for us every step of the way. we continuously bothered him, he went to great lengths to get us the camper we wanted. Even though its winter we still had a verymerry xmas present. Thanks to all the Grumbines staff for giving a little extra effort to make us happy."
-Victoria S.

"Dear Rick Hollis,
Thank you for making our purchase of a camper an enjoyable experience. Any questions we had,(and we had alot) were answered honestly and courteously. If you didnt know the answer answer, you checked into it and got right back to us. When we picked our camper up, the service staff showed us how to work everything, and answered even more questions. Rick made several follow up calls to see how our first couple of camping trips went. we love our camper, and would recommend Grumbine's Rv to anyone! Thank you again!"
-Donald and Joann A.

"Hi Jodie,
As we end another year, I just wanted to thank you for sharing all your expertise of recreational vehicle ownership. Although we haven't purchased one from oyu yet, your knowledge and ability to deal with impending RV owners, especially my wife and I has been appreciated. im proud of the fact that we were oyur first prospects. From a professional standpoint, I spent over 30 years in sales and marketing. I think I know what I am talking about. I've seen growth every time we've stopped in, either by appointment or a surprisevisit when oyu were busy. You always presented us with a smile and businesslike attitude."
-Joe and Grace M.

"Dear Mr. Chuck Jablonski,
I wanted to write this letter to personally thank you for the time and energy that you spent on my family and I this past spring when we bought our camper at Grumbines RV. Thanks to you and our wonderful experience at Grumbine's, we have spent the past 6 months thouroughly enjoying our new camper. Chuck, your special attention and professionalism was very much appreciated. Too often, we forget to give that well deserved pat on the back. Please pass our sincere thank oyu onto everyone there at Grumbine's RV.

The only reason Grumbines is getting a star is because I have too! Otherwise, they would get nothing. I purchased from them and I've experienced many of the same problems everyone else mentions here...work goes uncompleted and it takes forever for the work to get done. They're also "LIARS" and I don't use that word loosely. I took in camper due to issues with the valves and tanks. The valves were difficult to open and close and the tanks carried a terrible odor...after almost a year of trying to get this resolved, Grumbines stating the problem was fixed, I ran into issues on a vacation in NH and had to see a tech..well...Grumbines not only didn't fix the valves but the tank issue was never addressed. Why? Because the underbelly of the camper was never touched and the tanks were assembled in the wrong place ie, gray tank was black tank and vice versa. Had Grumbines did what they "claimed" they would have fixed this HUGE error righ away! There were many other issues I could mention just not enough space to write it in. BEWARE GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!!! SPARE YOURSELF THE UNECESSARY ANGUISH.

Do not buy at Grumbine's. I am so frustrated! I sunk all of my savings into a brand new 2010 Class A motorhome. What a mistake. My brand new, dream motorhome is no dream ?? it??s a nightmare? We have had this thing out on two trips: the first trip it leaked like a sieve. Not just drops, but a steady stream of water poured in from the large bump out for 2 days, the back-up camera didn??t work, the ladder was broken, the leveling jacks would not go down properly and two of the exterior storage doors filled up with water and would not close properly. The thing went back for Warranty Service as soon as we got back home and it was there for over a month. We were assured that all items on our repair list were fixed. When we were ready to pick it up for trip number two, we found out that one of the exterior replacement doors had not come in yet from the manufaturer. What? It??s been there for over a month! What are these people doing? This time, the back up camera lasted, oh, 15 minutes on the road and then went off. What a pain! We trailer 2 motorcycles with us and had to repeatedly pull over (24 hour trip) to check on the bikes since we couldn't see them on the camera.
Once again, the leveling jacks would not go down so the entire vacation (we were sited on a sloped site), we walked and slept on a slant and things fell out of the refrigerator every time we opened the door. I didn??t realize how many times I opened my refrigerator, but I was ready to pull my hair out every time something hit the floor. The kitchen pull out island was stuck and would not pull out, one of the exterior doors still does not close properly, and now there is a 3 inch crack forming in the fiberglass by the rear window.

So much for fun and relaxing vacations, all these problems really put a damper on our 2 trips. I guess I should be grateful that it didn??t leak and now I could climb my ladder, if I wanted to! My advise to you - don??t do it! I am taking a cruise next time so we can really enjoy our time off.

All I can say is, somebody better get this stuff fixed properly before we blow our tops!

We were going to purchase a camper at Grumbine's. They don't return phone calls . We called several times about the final deal with no response. Then they cashed a post dated deposit check for an order that was never finalized. They never provided fabric samples after asking and being told 3x they would. Never purchase from Grumbine's. They do not return phone call and have very poor business management. They are eager to take your money without completing the deal first. We will be purchasing elsewhere.

I purchase a used 5th wheel from Grumbines in Harrisburg, what a big mistake. My experience with them was and still is horrible. They do not return your phone calls, they say they fixed things that were never fixed. I will never buy from them again and would not recommend them. I would advise anyone searching for an RV or camper to look elsewhere.

We bought a RV from grumbines & are so sorry we did. Once they get your money, they are terrible. I was promised extras with my camper & had to fight for 4 months to get them to only find out they sent the wrong thing. They don't return phone calls. Then I had it in for service. It was there for 1 month & still the parts aren't in & problems not fixed. I will never buy from them again & I will make sure to tell everyone.

We recently purchased a camper from Grumbines. It was ordered at a RV show and they guaranteed that we would have it in 5 weeks and they came through. The service and sales people were very efficient when it came time to pick it up. It was a good experience.
