Disappointing experience - Expensive. Charged for additional service I didn't know was being done to my hair until I checked out. Found my stylist's station dirty...Would not return even though location is convenient.

I am a little confused about the negative review regarding the woman who never got her call. I had my appointment canceled two days ahead of time. I arrived to find they tried to contact me, but I never got my message. They confirmed my phone number to me, and I booked another appointment. They couldn't get me in then because... of course, they are a very busy salon. I checked my voicemail on my cell once I got back to my car and low and behold, there was a message. My phone just never alerted me to it..... I'm pretty sure that it is AT&T. So, please before you go pointing the finger, look at yourself! I have now been going there for 6 months, I've been seeing Wendy. She has been AMAZING and the staff at the front desk has never been rude to me.... In fact they are warm and some of them are very funny. I have a feeling that CARRIE G has this problem almost everywhere she goes. I hate to be mean, but I just don't see how what she says could be true. She apparently thinks that her sh!t doesn't stink. And if you heard that you shouldnt go to AZ Studio, then why did you go? Is it because you had problems every where else you went? It sure sounds like it.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here!! The staff is WELL trained. They are sending the stylists all over to compaines such as Bumble and Bumble, Loreal and Goldwell. Everytime I am in (every 5 weeks) I hear about a different stylist taking a new class. I highly recommend Christina F. or Shanna. They are the 2 most educated and I have had the best luck with them! They are also not snobby!!

First impression~AWFUL... I made an appointment for Saturday 9/19 to have my hair foiled and cut. I was a new client and arrived 15 minutes early. When I checked in at the front desk, the guy receptionist was rude. Long story short, I was told they tried to reach me by phone becaus the stylist would not be in, which was a lie, I received no messages on either number. I asked if someone else could accomodate me and he flatly said no. No apology, nothing!!! I left and will not return. Very unprofessional and he was a joke! I guess things happen for a reason, I hear now that they are not the ones you want working on your hair. Thank you God!!!!

This salon is really awful. I think they mean well but the stylists are so young and inexperienced - they genuinely don't know what they are doing.

Someone made the comment that they are akin to the "House of Beauty" and that's about right.

To make matters worse, the staff at the front desk are snooty and make the whole experience really uncomfortable.
