One of the first sex toy shops in New York. They have a lot of various sex toys, paraphanelia and anything else you can think of associated with S-E-X. The staff is very knowledgeable and are more than willing to help you find whatever you need. If you look in Bust magazine they sometimes offer discounts for the Toys in Babeland shop.

For an adult entertainment store, sleeze is the last word you would use to describe this place. Located on a relatively quiet place, you would never know what was behind the close door. Selection of adult toys is tastefully displayed. Lots of books are available on variety of subjects. Not really a hardcore type of store, more about the fun and pleasure that couples can have when they introduce a few adult toys into life.

Babeland is awesome. Not only is it a terrific company that is actually owned by women. Babeland is fairly progressive and supportive to the communities it represents. Babeland also has amazing toys of all kinds that are really high quality and good. I mean, if you order the cheap stuff you get the cheap stuff no matter where you shop, but this place has some really good stuff.. All of the customer service I have gotten from them has been excellent. If you call or email they actually know their stuff and help you. They are like experts. I always get all my packages on time and I know they don't charge you until you they ship to you. I called and asked after I read the last review. Honestly, if you have an interest in fun just check out their website.
Wow - this store is so amazing. The staff is super friendly and answered all of my questions without making me feel silly for asking. The products were really cool - they had something for everyone.

Pros: clean, great staff, workshops
I love this place. So comfortable, so beautiful...and the staff is amazing! They go out of their way to put customers at ease, and they're brimming with knowledge about toys, human sexuality, etc. I've never felt pressured into buying anything. And their workshops are fabulous - give 'em a try!
