This is a tasty, quick and convenient Chinese Pick up and Delivery. It covers a number of Chinese styles just like Joy Yee, among other sit downs. It offers discount coupons, but the counter staff often lets you know specials when you have forgotten. However, just pick up the menu; they are reasonable. There are a few McDonald's-like tables. This is not a dine in. For beverages, among extra needs, go next door to the convenience store.

Pros: Fast and Good Chinese Pick up & Delivery

Cons: Limited Seating

I tried this place last night based on the Citysearch rating. It turns out it's under new management and is now called China Ling. I wasn't expecting much in appearance based on the previous review, but the place was clean and had several tables for dining in (similar to, but slightly smaller than Hunan Spring in Evanston). The service was *very* fast; I placed an order for carry-out and it was ready in 5 minutes. I ordered the sesame chicken combination plate. This is the same as their lunch special (served from 11-3) with slightly larger portions (and slightly more money). It includes an egg roll, chicken fried or white rice (I got the chicken fried rice) and a beverage or soup (I got hot and sour soup). It's a lot of food! Nothing was exceptional but nothing was bad either. It was a solid meal, exactly what I was expecting from a strip mall Chinese restaurant. Decent food, good prices, excellent service and walking distance from my house. I wouldn't drive across town to carry out from there but if you're in the neighborhood, China Ling is a good choice for your carry-out or delivery Chinese food needs.

Pros: Extremely fast service, good value

Cons: As carry-out Chinese goes, none

Next to a convenience store and a laundromat, this is strictly for takeout and delivery. Though the place is a mess (newspapers strewn about), you can watch as your food is prepared in the kitchen. You'll see interesting stuff -- such as green beans being thrown into the deep fryer before being added to whatever dish they intended for.
